Gear S2 compared to Fitbit Steps

I have had my fitbit for over a year and feel it is very accurate measuring my steps. I received a Samsung Gear 2 as a gift and have been measuring my steps with both. The Gear 2 is off by a lot. I have a 700 step difference. Gear 2 is 700 steps less... Anyone else have that issue?

    I have the same issue and I can't figure out why?
    My treadmill will say I did 4 miles while my fit gear says 2 miles at 4.0 for an hour of walking .
    I keep my arms swinging when walking so I don't know why it doesn't count more accurately
    sorry I can't be more helpful but maybe someone will know more.
