Hello Team mates!!
It's not too soon for you to let me know if you are going to finish in the Winner's Circle. If you have 3 Pass days or less and have met the rules, please just let us know in your daily post, or send me a private message.
It's been a great month for many on the UAC team!!

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 5 Km in 40 mins (hills).
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Good start to the day. Nice walk. Beat 40mins back to the forest gate again
Had parent/teacher interviews tonight as well. Daughter is doing well at school. However parent/teacher interviews went over normal dinner time, so dinner was an unplanned rushed take-out. I knew take-out is calorie dense, but it's out of control. Still managed to stay in budget, but had to go into my exercise calories (usually I try to avoid doing that).
Burger king (Hungry Jacks here in Australia) have some meals that are over 1650 kCal (7000 kj). Thats more than more an average woman should have in a day (and almost as much as man should). A hamburger from places like that may be nice as an occasional, but it certainly should not be a normal (and they are not as filling as the calories they provide).
@nyponbell. Have a great trip. Look forward to seeing you next month.
@Slimpossible007. You can do this. 5 days to go.
@fightingthetideofaging. Impressive (and interesting) workout list. Almost makes me exhausted just reading it.
@MyersCrystal. Great for starting weight. Sore is also normal when starting weights. Try not to overdo it (build up very slowly - concentrate on form over weight). I hope you know the difference between good sore and bad sore. Rest days with weights are super important.
@fourathomej. This is tough. Stay with us for the last few days of the month. All steps in the right direction are good ones. Hope to see you smash it next month and make circle.
@loopydo2017. 4.5lbs in the month is great. Even if not making circle next month, you are still supported in UAC and it teaches the right habits. Please join us for next month.

Exercised?: Yes
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Was feeling a little rough this morning, had my head over a bowl of steam which helped clear my chest and head a little.
Managed 30mins on the cross trainer and 28mins of strength exercises but had to drop the weights and one exercise I couldn't do with the weights at all, so just used my own body weight (lunges - I'm not great at them with weights on a good day, lol).
Came out in one of those horrid cold sweats you get when you're full of cold, so had to stop.
Took the dogs for a 5km walk - 60mins - this afternoon. I see you did the same distance today Craig and a much quicker pace! Not very hilly the way I took today but a good pace (for me, lol).
Hoping tomorrow will be a better day.5 -

Exercise: just over an hour of Rugby. Hard going today. Full on contact session. I won the winner stays in wrestle, which was really good going seen as it was a session of all the forwards!

I've so far had 2 pass days. I know I'll have another on Saturday as heading to pride, which will most likely involve all of the rum!5 -

I'm taking pass day #2. I had a gnarly work day, lost the calorie count at lunch But, today is my friday, so I figure I may as well finish it off with some beer and pizza. Back on track tomorrow, if nothing goes crazy wrong, I will be at winners circle.
Congrats fellow UAC travelers! Whether we make the winners circle or not. Just checking in is a great accomplishment and habit for us.

Didn't make the winner's circle this month, but I don't have to to know that I am a winner nonetheless...and so are each one of you. It's been a great month and I'm looking forward to all of the creative, goal-smashing success and support that August has to bring. I truly hope to hear from everyone for the next leg of the journey.
3 yeses today. I'm getting into the groove. Now the key is to not get overly confident and make negative compromises that lead me back where I started. This is the problem I tend to have after I've tasted success. I think to myself, "you have the wiggle room...you've earned this cheat". I'm learning this time around to incorporate those "cheat" items into my day without going beyond my allotted macros and by making an even trade...in other words, if I have the half cup of ice cream then the cupcake is for some other day. So far this strategy is working for me and I don't feel deprived. Winning! lol
I really believe this whole balance thing is possible. It feels great to have control. Best to you all always!6 -
Out late last night missed morning workout. Horrible day at work. ISO audit that was supposed to 15 minutes. Grilled by new auditor for two hours. Wanted to stress eat for sure. Ate some of my "emergency" extra food at the office. Took the dog to the park to hike off some frustration so I did manage three yesses but it was tough.4

July 27:
Well, this is the day that means I've fallen short of the winner's circle. Way over on calories today from mindlessly eating to avoid stress at work.
I'm trying hard not to let this get me down by reminding myself that I have accomplished a lot this month. Falling short of the target on four days out of 27 doesn't mean I haven't made huge strides in my fitness this month. So, it's on to the next day.5 -
July 27
Exercise: 5 mile trail run and 10 min yoga
Calories: over by 23 Which does not put me in the winner's circle but I'm okay with that.
Tracked: yes
Miles: 5
Lesson Learned: I've accomplished A LOT this month and will continue with this challenge from now on!
