Mornin' gents.

Little wet this am. Still aware of my neck but its better.

Dave, am sure that some daily walking will be good for your Rita.

Used to have a deer problem eating my garden at night, but the elderly neighbor that made a habit of feeding them moved into an assistance facility a couple of years ago and the insurgence of bears has seemed to minimize their damage. As a result, am giving away tomatoes.

Movies in the park sounds fun, Bill. BYOB?

Be OP ;-)

Morning. Back from Camping. 6 nights 7 days. Family climbed Mt Katahdin, except 11 yo GS who left his shoes at home. I took him on a paddling adventure instead , where we saw a lynx on the beach we had to land on. He wouldn't move so we waited and watched for 10 minutes. Will try to post a pic he took

    Good morning gentlemen.

Wow, Mike, spotting a lynx is very cool. Cats are hard to spot in the wild. In 60 years of camping and hiking in the back country I have seen two cougars and one bobcat - lots of tracks, though.

Had the grandkids over last night. Have to get DGD to her T-ball game after breakfast.

    Good Morning Folks!

Very cool Mike. We saw a small linx once at Yosemite who wandered down to the valley near Yosemite creek. I was feeling a bit run down yesterday so took it easy. Glad my physical is next week. This happens has been happening more often these days. Putzing in the garden this morning, drinking coffee and listening to music. I am trying to talk DW to heading for the coast on Sunday. I miss the going to the ocean. We stopped when my back went south and long drives were problematic. I am thinking heading well south of the Bay Area.

Wow gorgeous lynx. Nice! I have seen bobcats but no lynx in the hills around Portland OR. I have gone 30+ years without seeing bobcats and then sighted them 4 times in about 18 mo close to home (within 3 to 8 miles in the hills). Hey Lee glad your tomatoes are doing great. I think we had some strange weather and also lack of pollination with ours. Some small varieties did great but on a large brandywine plant only 3 fruit. Now there are 10 new fruits on and the bees and bumblebees have returned. Go figure. Don't know if any of those will ripen before fall.
