I'm at the beginning of a long march down the weight slope, and I'm looking forward to some merry times in the thrift stores around here. Several years ago when I lost a large amount of weight I rebuilt my wardrobe over and over from the Salvation Army, Goodwill and a few other places. I remember the utter thrill of $7 cashmere sweaters and unworn, tags-still-on designer slacks -- and I'm looking forward to getting back to it again. Thanks for reminding me!1 -
I have found that other charity shops have very good things. There is a humane society one near my mom's house that has the best things. Love it when there are things with tags till on them.0
