Yesterday, I chose to spend/use a Pass day. I chose to do that. Why??
Yesterday, I took two of my grandchildren to the Sandwich Fair, aka the Dekalb County Fair. The only fair in the state of Illinois, USA that takes place after Labor Day. The 130th anniversary of the Sandwich Fair. I first attended the Sandwich Fair when I was 4 years old. I'm 67 now. I have not been there every year, but I delight in attending the fair.
A Pass day is yours to blow or your to choose to spend. It's not a sin...no need for recrimination.11 -

What an awesome thread yesterday. @trixsey1 you gave a great summary. I never congratulated you for the 130s I can so relate. I'm 5' 2 also and from your intro I know we were at the same starting weight. Being healthy for my family is one of my big motivation factors.5

Good time today. Managed to find the gap between rain and darkness. (Sacrificed my first rain gap opportunity to walk with my wife)
This is 3 days in a row walking with my wife. I have noticed little things in her mood improving too.Amazing what a little exercise does.
Hope everyone affected by Irma is keeping safe. Wellbeing of self, family and friends come before weight management.
@RangerRickL. Permission granted.Hope you and your grandchildren had a great day.
@trixsey1. The K9's say thank you. You need the K9 voice box from the Pixar animation "Up"

@marthall, I remember that feeling when I first started trying to lose weight. For me, a lot of it came from just being disgusted with my body. And it seemed like such a long road ahead to becoming acceptable. In retrospect, I realize I was acceptable, even overweight. We are all acceptable, but we can be so hard on ourselves. IF we want to lose weight, get stronger, hike longer whatever . . . we can make that decision on a daily basis. Or weekly, monthly, whatever works, but looking too far into the future can be overwhelming, and who knows what will happen to any of us anyways.
@pribud, that's so exciting to start a home business. I find it easy to imagine you being a very social, fun person.
@slimpossible, I hope your back pain is improving.
@fightingthetideofaging, wow, what wide variety of interesting activities you have.
@RangerRick, enjoy the fair! I couldn't make it without fun pass days.
@craig, exercise is the best medicine for mood. I'm glad you're wife has found it.
Yes x 3 today. Deadlifts and overheads. Weightlifting saves my sanity, it keeps me grounded, and gives me confidence in myself as a physical creature.7 -
Three yesses. But I wasn't smart with timing and was hungry. Sometimes if I have errands after work I wait until I can sit down and eat a meal. But things got way late and I got over hungry and didn't eat well. The good news is I donated blood today and my iron was nice and high6

My husband and I babysat our 3 year old granddaughter and our 5 year old grandson today. A very busy but fun day.
It was 30 degrees Celsius so we enjoyed a great afternoon in the pool. We can't believe our outdoor pool is still open; let the hot weather continue. ☀️
Got my granddaughter to help me make some ground turkey soup. Got her to use a plastic knife and she cut up some onions etc. She was so proud. Our grandson was busy with grandpa doing lego. Grandparenting is a fun job.
Tracking: okay
Lots of activity
