As martial artists who are also members of a WL and fitness website, it can be helpful for us to remain accountable to each other, and share training ideas.
Any time you participate in class, or practice out side of class, post here and let everyone know. You can write something as simple as "Went to sparring class... got my licks in", or get into as much detail on the practice as you'd like.
This post gets rebuilt every day, to remind us to approach each practice/training/class with a fresh perspective:
- It doesn't matter how hard you worked yesterday... what matters is what you do today.

Noon Boxing Class. My cross technique still needs work. A bit frustrated because striking is just something that has not come to me as quickly as would have like. I just need to be good enough not to get knocked before I can get the fight to the ground.
And though I am concentrating on striking so Coach will book me an MMA fight, I miss rolling BJJ which this slow as molasses healing rib will not allow me to do.
So unfortunately I have to keep running to ensure sufficient cardio - I hate running.

I have wushu class tomorrow, so I reviewed today things that I got corrections on last week. With work and life and stuff, sometimes I actually find that I have to write them down before I practice (early senility?) - yikes! I'm heading out to handstands and acrobatics class in a few. These aren't directly martial arts related, but the acrobatics class really helps with the jumping and tumbling that wushu uses. (Note, that when I first started I couldn't even do a cartwheel)1

I regularly go for training but I am too lazy to write down in detail what we did.1

Two hours of teaching beginner belts, followed by 30 mins of good solid training, my voice got a good workout too. May be the only training I get in this week - I am filling in for my instructor and his wife who got "stuck" out on the Caribbean on their honeymoon cruise because of Irma.2

So far just an hour of teaching TKD mostly Side kick and white belt forms2
