    Mornin' BBB.

Dog training day. Grouse hunting in Vermont this weekend with pups. Babe finishing up her heat cycle so no trialing until next weekend.

Did I mention Babe is going to the National Open in Austin, Minnesota in November with Billy the Greek?

Congrats on upcoming retirement, Dennis. Go wild.

Mary, so great your boys enjoy hanging with their mom.

Lisa, sounds like you need to make a trip to NM.

Skip, love the passion your VFW and local businesses are showing for our flag. Did you see the report of the LV shooting victim hopping out of his hospital bed to stand for the president? Said he would always stand for the flag, his country, and the president. Goosebumps.

    Good morning.
At a friends house letting her OLD dog out.
No clue on that quote. I'm stumped.
Wow Lee, I did not know that about babe. How cool. I also did not know that about the shooting victim. Priceless.
Dinner last night was fun. I didn't overeat either. Lost another pound at weigh in. Down 12. About to goal.
    DH sees surgeon today.
Nothing much else to report other than I'm with Lou!!
    I'll cbl
Make it a beautiful day in all you say and do.

    Woo hoo! Nice loss, Kelly.

No clue on the quote either. Inspector Skip is a clue, I would guess. Still clueless.

    I'm with Lou!

    Good Morning,
    Tis TGIF Eve!
Hope all got a great HUMP in yesterday,
    Lathe ready for power?
Great news for Babe! Enjoy day off.
Dennis, hope you did not get tied up in 1-20 being closed yesterday afternoon.
Turnips, mustard up where planted Saturday, DMIL finally watered yesterday.
Beans need picking again, getting about 5 lbs twice a week off a little 30' row.
Some kind of worm (small gray) is attacking my tomatoes, DMIL is taking to extension office today to see best way to get rid of them.
Totally agree with boycott of NFL, also will not use products of sponsors. Players strike for baseball hurt major league baseball where stadiums are half full and new ones being built much smaller. Reckon players along with owners agreement will tremendously hurt the NFL.
What is DH seeing surgeon for? must have missed or forgotten. It's heck getting old.
    I'm with Lou!!
    Mary, enjoy DS and Birthday.
Lisa, being busy as you are DD will be back before you know it.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

<--- also clueless, which is nothing new.

One more day, Dennis! Woot woooooooot!!!!!!!
Enjoy the hunting trip, Lee! Do you keep all you shoot, or do you donate?
Sam, you can send some of those beans this way. YUM.

It's so weird not being at my meetings this morning. But good, too. Our friends are coming later, and we have a new oven being delivered this morning (ours broke a couple days ago. We could have fixed it, but it was 18 years old and I wanted a new one), so it's nice to be home so I can get the house all in order. I still have a noon meeting today, and I lead a Bible study on Thursday nights, but it's certainly less harried without having to get up at 4:30 and drive to the other side of GR.

I think the quote is something from a Ferris Bueller movie but I've no clue either.... My library of watched movies isn't very large.

Congrats Dennis - you must be over the moon!!

Lisa, which Wisc. city / meetings does your visiting friend lead?
Enjoy the new stove. Read the reviews on that book you posted on b about, Lisa. I may buy the audio for my commute rides in....

My dahlias are still blooming at full speed ahead and some stand over 5ft tall. But as for the veggies and other flowers, coming to a quick end here in the Midwest. Enjoy the season yet Sam, benefit of down south gardening lasting so long!

Good luck on the hunt, Doc Lee

Time for Raine to land a deal on her house for sale!

What is dh having done, Kelly? Wish him well

    We're with Lou!

Be safe, be kind, be happy BBB

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    - Glad the new lathe is in place. Time to turn some wood.
    - I had a rough ride into town yesterday Sam but missed the problems on the way out. I'm not going to miss those commutes.
    - Nice luncheon at Gordon Biersch Brewery yesterday. Got cake and everything. No gold watch but I did get an Amazon gift card. I guess I could buy a watch but it would probably be gold tone.
    - Great news about AB going to the National Open.
    - Glad to hear Lisa is getting a new Easy Bake Oven.
    - Congrats on the WL Kelly. I too had to get serious again AND I did not gain any weight on the cruise.
    - Should I feel persecuted Skip?
    - I'm with Lou! BTW, I know of a job opening in Atl.

    Good Morning!

    Wow! Lots going on here!

Dennis, I hope that you are able to enjoy your last few days before retirement. How awesome for you!

Skip - Way to go! The country needs more patriots like you and your post.

Doc Lee - Congratulations! What an opportunity for AB!

Safe travels for those on the move.

    Have a great day!

Lisa - a new oven is a treat!
Bill - sorry, I don’t get the reference - help us!

    Morning bbb

Dennis I can't believe the week is finally here. Congratulations

Working from home today. Lots to do to translate all the info I got in Houston this week to send to the stores as actionable direction.

    Good morning BBB.

The lathe assembly went well. Now all I need is an electrician to install the proper outlet in the wall. I'll spend time in the shop cleaning the last of the protective grease off the lathe. Have to take the gigantic styrofoam packing things to recycling, too. Anyway, I am a happy camper.

    Good afternoon.

I'm not sure what it says about me that I *did* get the reference merely with the Prisoner 24601 part. I like Broadway musicals, but I'm pretty sure I'm straight.

    *calls wife*

L: On a scale from one to flaming, how gay is a guy who recognizes a Broadway show from a piece of spoken dialog?

C: Are we having "the talk"?

L: No. Asking for a friend.

Interview yesterday went fine. It was really more of a test of ideological purity since they're a fiscally conservative think tank. When I explained to the CEO that his organization helped my campaign - at his direction, no less - that pretty much took care of things.

    Love the smile Dave!

Holy smokes Raine, did you see the accident?

DH scheduled for double hernia surgery October 30. Mind you, it was a single until yesterday when he was on the first roof removing siding from the second story. Errrrr. Since he's older the dr wants an EKG first. For Pete sake, his heart is fine. Ice cold like it's supposed to be. Ha ha ha.

    Go to New York, Kelly.

See Les Miserables on Broadway. I gave up on the movie after about 20 minutes.

    *sashays out*
