I went looking for a photo to illustrate my love for and @okuycan love of horseback riding. Instead, I found a photo that is so far beyond anything that I have ever done, I wanted to share it.

All is well in my neck of the woods. The horse does not look pleased and the guy in the back ground looks like he's pleased it's not him with the girl standing on him. LOL
I have been getting up and exercising bright and early and it seems to be helping with getting my blood a pumping and a moving. Trying to stay off the net and get things done.

Posting for the 17th - will post again later for today.
Hurricane Ophelia has caused an estimated £1billion in damage and claimed 18 lives throughout Ireland and the UK.
Hundreds of flights were cancelled, trains throughout Glasgow and Edinburgh were hit by trees falling onto the tracks, and Ireland declared a state of national emergency.
Thousands of homes are still without power and schools, hospitals and pubic transports were closed due to a Danger To Life weather warning put out by authorities.
It's told that Ophelia's arrival coincided with the Great Storm of 1987 which hit Southern England on October the 15th.
I'm further down the UK so we just had the tail end of the winds but the dust and sand kicked up into the air turned the whole sky a eerie red/orange. Managed to get a picture...

Another late night (only off the conference with India at 12:10am).

Trixsey wasn't the sky crazy! The sun went orange, the sky yellow and where I am at about 1pm it went dark for an hour. I overheard someone in the shops with a conspiracy theory that Trump had pushed the button and we were being told it was weather related! Hope not!

I've just submitted an assignment for my masters. Yep, I've ended up doing further study for my career so juggling that, work, a toddler, life and trying to be healthy and then get on here and tell you about it and read you news and reply ... There aren't enough hours sorry. But hi!

I've yet to have dinner but I have plenty left. I always eat a late lunch. Today it was close to 3pm so will have something light a bit later. Will track it of course like a good girl, My Fitness Pal told me I have logged in 75 days in a row a few days ago. My husband thinks I'm insane.

@trixsey1 So sorry to hear of the devastation and loss of life in your area. So glad you weren't affected too much.
It's been particularly difficult this year here in the US. Also in Mexico and the islands. Our daughter and husband are missionaries in Nicaragua. Nate hit there a few weeks ago . They are okay but there were around 30 deaths in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

It's almost midnight for me. I have an unusual number of speaking opportunities this week and next.
@trixsey1 and @am_change I had no idea that the UK ever experienced hurricanes. I had always thought of them as originating in the Caribbean. Our friends in Costa Rica have been inundated with rain for weeks due to Hurricane Nate or was it Tropical Storm Nate?

It is a funny thing about this.

but that is mostly because I went back to food box tracking. I even had food left over.
Food box tracking, well that is the same as camping really. There ain't nothing to eat around here unless I go to the store and that ain't easy from here. Ain't no potato chips in the food box.
Dark night, let me tell you about a dark night. Moon don't come up until 4 am and then it is only a 10% sliver of moon. That is a dark night. Laying there in the tent you hear things.
Something is rustling my plastic water bottles over there.
I can turn on my flashlight and peek out from under my tent flap. I see the reflection of eyes in that light. I think it is a raccoon. Well that is better than a bear. There is bears here, I know that much.
But it ain't freezing. My water didn't freeze.
But there is frozen water around here. I will put a picture of that. I can't really do the Colo trail any more this season cuz of ice flows.
I think I am going to get up in the morning and have the privacy to do morning things but an OHV pulls into my camp. Old guy like me. He is one year older than me.
So I put a coffee pot on the fire.
Talking to this guy, he is a multi millionaire. I am the hobo of FR579.
He set his whole family up, family reunion type action, in a place a few miles down the road. I know where they are staying. It is the stuff of $1000 per room per night. Hunt camp family reunion except these guys ain't exactly camping.
But here is these two crazy old guys getting their coffee off of an early morning breakfast fire.
We spent the whole morning yakking. I think now what I coulda and shoulda said. I shoulda offered to be that guys biographer. He had a life worth recording. He could still remember the first dollar he ever earned.
But here he is bending my ear because I think his family has heard all of them tales one time too many.
Campfire, hey you never know who is going to come to your campfire. It don't get any weirder than this.
