Garmin vivosmart hr+ not syncing

Hi.
Just upgraded my vivosmart HR to the HR+ , Connected to MFP I but it's not syncing. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions on how to sort this

    Same problem but no upgrade. I see in other threads there are currently garmin sync issues after the last MFP upgrade

    I'm not having a problem syncing but my started activities/workouts aren't showing up on the correct day (5am workouts show up as being done at 9pm on previous day). A facebook "friend" is getting multiple notifications for challenges -- so maybe Garmin is just having issues all around.

    I disconnected my Garmin on MFP with plans to reconnect, hoping it would solve the problem. Now I cannot connect to Garmin. My Garmin still shows connected to MFP. When go apps->Garmin-> connect it just takes me to my Garmin dashboard and I still show no device connected on MFP. Is this the correct way to connect?
