Family is so important. They teach us so many lessons growing up.

What did you learn from your parents?

    I learned:
    • Honesty is often the best policy. If you did something wrong and owned up to it, the punishment was always less.
    • When you give your word, stick to it.
    • A good marriage is not about love, but trust, commitment, communication and often putting your partners need (not like, but need) before your own. (I'm still happily married after 27 years, so I think I learned this one well :) )

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 3.1 Km in 24 mins (hills).
    Calories?: Yes.
    Tracked?: Yes.

Pre-breakfast short walk. Busy day with drone race time trials and flying out to the UK. (Writing this in the airport lounge)

I am now officially not the slowest drone racer in the club. Yay! I still need to do large repairs on the drone as too many hard landing have cracked the frame. Boo!

Unfortunately now 24+ hours of flying ahead of me (cattle class). May be unable to report in tomorrow, but I will try from the airport lounge in Dubai.

    Lesson learnt:

    Endless list. From Parents
    respect,care and compassion for others.
    Commitment
    Good will
The world owes you nothing you earn what you need.

    Learnt from my late daughter.
    Endless medical knowledge.
Speaking up for those that are not able to do so.
Perfection is not the B all and end all.
It's an honour to care and cherish for a special child.
    Care and compassion
Putting others needs before our own.

I could go on and on here!!!!

Ate some leftovers today from our dinner yesterday and still stayed under calories. I've lost almost 2 lbs this week so I'm going back into maintenance again. I know some of the loss was just eating light after dental surgery but I managed to get the 5 cushion pounds off I wanted plus a couple extra so I'm going try to stop losing for now.

Exercise: Yes, 46 min walk with the dog. Planned on going to the gym but was really too tired so walked instead
    Calories: Yes, easily under
    Tracking: Yes, even the leftovers!

Here is a picture of my wife, Rose, and me created by our youngest grand child, Phoebe. She is in second grade.
Thanks to @craigo3154 for his help during my vacation in Central America.
My parents taught me that I could do anything that I was willing to work for. They also gave me the most important gift that any child should receive, I always knew that my parents loved me.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. 2 mile dog walk

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes

What I learned from my parents:

    Respect your elders
    Work hard
Turn the light off when you leave a room

And much more. I was lucky enough to have parents that were married until my father passed in 2002. My mum has never remarried or dated. She is a wonderful role model to me. She is coming to visit in 3 weeks and I can’t be more excited.

I'm the oldest child of teenage parents, so what I learned was to take care of myself and siblings. I developed independence and industriousness. I don't thank them for that, but I made the most of the situation.

Yes x 3 today, under calories by a better margin, weightlifting this morning, tango this evening.

    3 yeses for me.

My life lesson and biggest pet peeve. Don’t complain unless you’re doing something about it. If you can’t do anything about it then find a better way of looking at it. Life is only as good as you make it.

@dejavuohlala thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately the Cleveland clinic heart center has been part of our lives for the last 13 years.
@LuluNacia congratulations on the scale being where you want it to be.!!
    Three yesses for Sunday 11-19.
My dad was my idol. He grew up in orphanages and reform schools. Worked every job imaginable and through the help of the GI Bill went to college and ended up the a PHd. He ran a 1/2 way house for messed up kids as he had been. Way too many life lessons taught to list here.
