Good day, everyone!!
It is recommended that you keep up your tracking journal as your day progresses. It is recommended that you report in daily. Those are UAC recommendations, not requirements.
We do ask that you sign in at least every 3 days. You are all adults. Journaling is a very helpful habit to make each of us more thoughtful about what we eat and drink.
Best wishes!5 -
@120maggie I live in the snow belt just outside of Buffalo. LOL We are the ones always on the news shoveling off our roofs due to lake effect. Winter is definitely not my season.
By the way it also interrupts my internet so now that the snow is here I will do my best to check in.
Yes x 3 for yesterday.
I opened the mail and got sent the wrong thing. I had ordered a weight belt and they sent me hot pink hand weights. Ok just because they are pink doesn't mean I want them. Waiting to hear back I said to them the right company just wrong item in fact the pictures on the box are almost identical I could see how the mistake happened.
I definitely like Dec as its easy to get dressed I put on a Xmas sweater and away I go. My coworkers are like where do you find your sweaters? I search I love pretty Xmas sweaters this ugly fad should just die off as it makes finding pretty ones near impossible.
Time to exercise have a great day everyone !!!6 -

Exercised?: Yes. 5km in 40 mins (hills)
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Slower today as I was carrying a backpack so I could break mid-walk to do some test flying of a new quad.
Dinner with parent tonight. Family is great.
@RangerRickL. I have a pretty good memory, but still cannot remember everything. Keeping a journal of what I want to track I found essential to success. Not only do you need to recall and record, but you can use the journal to look for patterns and remind you of how different things were in the past.

@2020pinktogo . I wondered if you were in the Buffalo area. We aren't too far away and are very familiar with the white joy which Erie shares. 40 miles East of Cleveland . Holiday Valley in Elliocottville is our favorite spot to ski from home. Stay warm and safe1

Yes x 3 for me. Ended up being well under on calories as the recipe I'd prepared for supper to serve the 2 of us actually made 3 portions (so one for the freezer!). Pleased that we didn't just mindlessly finish the pot between us - I think some healthier habits are creeping up on my husband by stealth.3

@2020pinktogo & @120maggie. It seems there are several of us from the snow belt area. We are east of Buffalo closer to the Rochester area. A bit of snow flurry activity today with minor accumulation...but chilly just the same. A little early to close my kitchen today...but must remain closed to keep within calorie allowance.
@RangerRickL. Yes... a journal is a good idea. I tend to put notes in the "Notes" app on the iPad and erase them daily, but it doesn't give me anything to look back on. Agreed...can't solely rely on memory at MY age. It doesn't always remember what I think it remembers.
Yes x 3 for me. Exercise was 40 minutes low impact aerobics and a 40 minute walk. Have a nice evening, everyone!

Exercise: yes, I jogged for about an hour. It had been really cold overnight, so some segments were slippery! Yikes!
Calories: yes, under my limit
Tracking: yes, everything
@craigo3154 and @RangerRickL, I agree about tracking everything. I predetermine my meals and workouts the night before and pre-enter them in to MFP. It makes things so much easier for staying on track:)5 -
@RangerRickL : I just started journaling a couple of days back because I felt that I was losing sight of my goals. Also I feel it gave me a place to let go so that I wouldn't beat myself up for not staying on track.
Flurries here as well, not much accumulation but too cold to walk outside, so 30 minutes on treadmill and some weights.
Exercise : Yes
Calories : Yes, under by just 50 but made it !
Tracking : Yes
Have a good day tomorrow everyone !

Pool was full of kids again. So I did 30 minutes on the stationary bike before my lifting session - not ideal but at least it’s something. I’d really like to just run tomorrow but I will try to control myself.3 -
Did 30 minutes on my new dumbbell routine, plus 9,246 steps, over 2 hrs active.
Back where I was aiming on calories, not even close to using exercise cals.
Everything logged.
I find that logging 3 or 4 times a dayhelps with conscious decision making, and with accuracy.4 -

Here is my guilty little smile: I do a good job of tracking. Tonight, I really wanted an ice cream treat. Well, I had just enough margin to really enjoy a Klondike bar. I had not had one for a very long time. I loved it and still came in just under my calorie limit. I'm happy!
Calories: Ok
Tracking: Ok

Family arrived from London. It’s been over a year since I’ve seen my mum and sister in person. I have a very full heart tonight.
My old boss used to wear out the saying ‘you can’t manage what you don’t measure’. For me, tracking is a must. I was shocked when I first started logging meals and would regularly eat 3-4,000 in a day, especially at the weekend. Now If i go over my calorie goal, it’s by 2-300 and recoverable.3 -
