    TGIF!

Still shivering from wading in icy pond yesterday. Gonna pound hot tea and vit C today. Started that last night, actually.

Hope everyone is feeling better heading into weekend.

Christmas gift acquisitions for others have started for me.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning!

Awesome job, Lee! Practicing for the Polor Plunge is also good. :) I recommend finding a spa with a hot tub, and a sauna. It is very hard to get that cold out of your "bones", once it sets in. Ugh!

I'm glad to hear that some of you guys are starting to get some relief from the pain management, and starting to get some answers. Dave, I'm sorry that the braces didn't work out like you might have hoped.

    Have a great day!

Good grief Lee hard to imagine jumping through the ice but would do that myself if needed to save my dogs or kids. Polar Plunge for sure.
•Sorry about your pain Dave. I took a hard tumble on the frozen ground last Saturday but have seemed to have lucked out with a wrist sprain. Going out for early walk today before possibility of a spat of freezing rain later in the a.m. on our side of town.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Still struggling through cough and congestion - the gift that keeps on giving.

DW wants to go shopping, today. I need to watch my actions carefully. I don't understand shopping. I plan what to buy and where to buy it, then execute the plan. Aimlessly wandering around looking at everything seems a waste of time. But Lord help me if I show the slightest sign of impatience. Maybe I'll leave my wristwatch at home, so I won't be tempted to look at it.

Good Morning. Well done Lee. Now take care of yourself. I had my implant done yesterday. It is still a remarkable painless process. Only concern was when they asked me to take 800mg of Motrin for a week even though I have been on high levels of prescriptions NSAIDs for well over 2 years. Dentist thought it would be fine for one week. Sleep is a mess. I slept on and off from noon till 9. Trying some new home therapy to reduce pain today after talking to a nurse to review a new assessment of my condition. It should ease discomfort during the 45min drive next week for the epidural. Have a good day!

Lee, stay out of the swimming hole till next summer!

Nutritionist visit yesterday was quite interesting… Didn't talk a whole lot about food, rather, about living habits, relationships, daily routines, divorce aftereffects, building friendships.

I bring a thermos of hot tea when I winter hike or ice fish, in case I get chilled.

DD in Bali coming home for Christmas. Miss her a lot.

Good luck with the pain mgt out there.

    Good Morning!

I hope that those in the group with colds, aches, pains, etc. can find a way to start feeling better soon! My boss even called in yesterday. He said that he was "sicker than a dog". I didn't get my bonus check. It will be in the safe, and I'll get it Monday!

Mike, much of what we eat is a result of how we feel. Patterns develop. I have a ton of bad patterns that I need to find a way to break up, for example stress eating. I think that you would find that experience with the nutritionist interesting. I'd be curious to know how that works out for you over a longer period of time. Multiple visits in store?

    Have a great day!
