There is no more difficult month in which to qualify for the UAC Winner's Circle. It is a privilege to congratulate the UAC members who accomplished their goal.

Every month, we welcome our wonderful returning UAC members and new people with whom we enjoy sharing the journey to learning and maintaining the healthy habits. Those habits are posted above in the daily discussion post. Please note that whatever method of measurement works for you, is ok with the UAC. You may create a daily budget of calories/WW points/kilojoules or whatever works for you.
Please get involved! Read your team mates posts; send private messages of encouragement; and if you are not comfortable with sharing...that is ok too.
Congratulations for joining the UAC team!
@RangerRickL, from now on, just, Rick9 -

Congratulations to everyone in the winner's circle! And to everyone who made it to the end of Dec! I agree with @RangerRick that it's the hardest month. I started it, but slacked off and took a break. I maintained my weight, but ate unhealthy food, and got out of my exercise routines. UAC helped me lose all my weight, and make it to maintenance. I want to stay there, so I'm happy to be back I look forward to seeing how you're all doing. Happy New Year!7

Well done to the December Circle of Super Humans. You guys are made of different stuff!
Exercise: yes. A family tradition of an outdoor swim in a lido (wow, a whole year since Rick pointed out to me that that's not a word everyone uses. In the UK, it's a public outdoor pool).
Tracking: everything and I was expecting an early pass day as there was lots of celebration for the family for the year ahead (babies and weddings) and I went with the flow... However,
Calories: apparently yes! A bit of guesstimating as I didn't cook but looks OK.
@2020pinktogo so pleased you started the year with a day off! Hope you've enjoyed it.3 -

Happy New Year.
Early walk. Visited friend for dinner this evening. Great start to the new year.
Late check-in for me as I was tired and after New Year and visiting friends so posting this on Jan 2.
Congratulations to all who made the Winners circle in December. That is the hardest month to keep consistent with all the temptation and social functions about.
Congratulations too to all who kept going in December, even after the fourth pass day. This is really what UAC is about.
Each month I post my goals for the month. It helps keep me focused. They are often the same month to month, but it is what I aspire to maintain.
Personal goals for January:- Be in winners circle (track everything, keep under budget, 20+ mins exercise per day, no more than 3 pass days).
- Stay between 64kg and 75kg (full maintenance maintenance trying not to go too low but allow it to bounce up a bit too. Feeling fine spending the entire of last month well under 70kg, seems now like for me it should be healthy and sustainable. Still have 75kg as my upper limit as it is still just in normal BMI range for me.).
- Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month) and continue past failings (forgive mistakes and keep moving forward).
- Encourage others where possible.

Congratulations to the winnerrs circle.
Welcome to the newcomers.
I got a good start. Didn't get carried away last night. Felt good this morning.
So ...
1) 3 hours of climbing
2) tracking check.
3) budget... if I close the kitchen right now I will have an 630 cal remaining.
For January I am going to be a little more formal and meticulous on reporting.6 -

Exercised?: Yes. 30 mins of strength training - which is good because adding strength training is a goal of mine this year. I wish I would have gotten out for a jog but with a -22 degree wind chill today here in Kansas City I could not force myself to get out there.
Calories?: Yes I regret the white wine I had - but a nine hour work day with no break does that to me.
Tracked?: Yes - even the wine.

Exercised: Yes, agonizingly slow walk with the kids. And another 20 minute walk looking for my lost friend.4 -
New day, new year.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 30 minutes combination videos (20-low impact aerobics, 10-strength, & 10-stretch) Subsequent 20 minutes of HIIT Low Impact (H2O Plan workout day 1 of 5 day plan) Not sure I will continue with the remaining 4 days of that workout plan. While they are supposedly beginner workouts, I think they are not intended for my aging bones!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes4 -
