We are back to normal January temps, highs in 50's lows in 30's; rain holding off till weekend.
Mary, with 1/2 bottle of wine and shots of whiskey one does not need volka. You did good; hope you get lots of sales leads today.
Burning mattresses today, trying to find what's hardest for inmates to start a fire with.
Local farm market is starting a monthly supper club, going to give them a try tomorrow.

I missed yesterday. Big day got up early to celebrate ds and his 22nd birthday. Overdid it with the rating and drinking yesterday. Ugh.

Good morning and greetings from your favorite working stiff!
I'm on an earlier train so I can have more time for coffee when I get to the city. It's the rush to get in by X that forces me to drink that abomination they call "coffee" at the office. So, I've bought myself 20 minutes by moving my *kitten* a little faster; and I already move pretty quickly.
I work for a man who's custom license plate says "GLOCK 22". I have a 25 y/o BB gun that looks very realistic. So, if you break into my house, I'll put your eye out!

Good morning BBB.
Sam, yesterday I glued up a blank of an exotic hardwood (sapele) to use in turning a chip and dip bowl to give my DDIL for her birthday. I also finish turned a maple bowl, just for the fun of making shavings. I still haven't started turning blanks from the pile of cherry, mape and hazelnut logs that fills the corner of my shop.
Burning mattresses - yes!
I got a concealed carry permit a few years back, but don't own a concealable firearm. I enjoy shooting, but haven;t done so since I retired from active duty 18 years ago. I'd make fun of those who claim dislike for a tool, such as a gun, but realize I feel dislike toward dirt bikes, ORVs and jacked-up pickups. So who am I to throw stones.0 -

Two days of mostly sitting...candy dish got the better of me yesterday afternoon so out of weeklies for the rest of today. Catered lunch and breakfast are going to make today hard. Traveling is easier than meetings.
I haven't shot a gun in 20+ years. Grew up in a big hunting area. I have no strong feelings either way.0 -

- Caribbean cruises and trips to FL are on the horizon for some lucky BBB gals.
- Business trips were always difficult on WW. Not impossible but difficult.

Mornin' all. I have enjoyed some hunting at times with shotguns for waterfowl and also rifles. No big desire for something small and short. Like fly fishing the most and especially dry flies. We all have our likes and dislikes for sure.
I love Lou's remarks. Yeah I might poke your eye out with a pointy stick in me home.
I use to have OK martial art stuff but would probably pull a hamstring these days if I tried.
