Hope every one is doing well on their own. I find the hardest time for me to avoid caving is evening after dinner. What works for you when cravings hit?

Cravings are hard! I try to "distract" myself by chewing gum and finding an activity that hopefully takes my mind off whatever I'm craving. Sometimes, if I'm craving chocolate, for example, I will have one square and then give the rest to someone else so that I cannot have any more of it. There are many different methods, I think, and a lot depends upon how strong the craving is.

Speaking of chewing gum, one of the things that's helped lately was Wrigley's sugar-free mint chocolate chip gum. Get's me past the intense sugar craving. Couple of others that are working right now are hot tea or decaff coffee with a tablespoon of my favorite creamer (at 35 calories, not so bad).

The worst craving I have been giving in to WAY too often is wine! I love wine-I’ m trying to substitute herb tea but still doesn’t get rid of the craving. Any ideas for this one?
