Yes x 3... only just. Felt really ill most of the day, so exercise was a long slow walk, but better than nothing. Slept so much I didn’t have much time to eat, so calories are way under.
Here’s hoping tomorrow has better health. Think I am a bit burnt out lately.2 -

I haven’t been good for the last few days, had some “What the heck was I thinking” moments with food that I was kind of upset with myself afterwards... learned that I definitely overeat when I am homesick.
So... new approach for this coming week: Plan ahead, my fridge is completely stocked with healthy whole food. I will not overcook, will just put right portion in container. Discipline is what I am seeking for right now.
The upside: I am now more active, not as active as you guys are, but it’s a start. Also not buying snacks in the store even though I was tempted. And not giving up after making bad choices.7 -

This was a very relaxed Saturday and I enjoyed it sooooooooo much!
I slept until 8 a.m. Most nights I get 6 hours sleep, so I like to sleep late on Saturday. I get up when my body says 'good morning."
My wife, Rose, is in Phoenix and she enjoyed being a volunteer at a Chinese New Year celebration at North Mountain Visitor Center.
Exercise: simple walking

28th Wedding Anniversary. (Been married since age 21 - lucky to find the right partner early)
Afternoon walk. Daughter spent night at friends place.
My wife and I went for a fantastic Korean Barbecue dinner (bibimbap, pork belly, marinated beef ribs, wagyu steak, wagyu beef rib, lots of small Korean vegetable side dishes including kimchi). Still under for the day when totalled up.

Exercise was a lot of housecleaning. I hit the Rocky Road Haagen Daz again. I'm not buying it anymore! At my age and weight, I'm not allotted many calories for maintenance, and the ice cream takes up too much. I'm going to buy some plain yogurt today, and put honey and nuts on it for a substitute.

So sorry medical issues are interrupting your progress. Best to stay on top of them, though. Always important to listen to your body and heed the advice of your physician.2 -

Did exercise but everything else was difficult to track. I was out most of the day for a friend’s birthday and couldn’t keep track or properly count calories4 -

This is race week for me. I have a swim meet this coming Saturday 2/24 as a qualifier for the National Sr. Olympics. I am going to swim the 200m breast stroke. I am recovering now from my sinus infections and asthma flare up and today is the first day I have felt slowly better. So we will see how things improve for the remainder of the week.
Exercise? Running yes! Strength training yes!

Allow yourself the Rocky Road Haagen Daz as an occasional treat. Have it on an intentional pass day, or plan it into budget on particular days. Barring yourself from something you like is a sure fire way to build cravings for it.
Having the lower calorie substitute (yogurt with honey and nuts) is a great way to get something you also like on a more regular basis.
