I was at the USA Track and Field Championships here in ABQ for several hours yesterday and brought along water and my planned snacks so I could avoid the concessions. Great plan for me that I was able to carry out. Have a three day pass, so I will do the same today!2 -

I ate almost 600 calories of rocky road, but stayed within limits overall. This is becoming a bad habit for me. Once I start eating the ice cream, it's hard to stop. I'm going to have to find a substitute for the sweet cravings. Eating too much ice cream isn't leaving much room for healthy food.3 -

Man o man! I found me a new hill to climb. It is blacktop and a car goes by every now and then but it ain't a very fast road for cars.
In 2.2 miles it climbs 1000 feet. So if I do it twice, I can get my 2000 foot climb metric. (800 calories)
I can get that 2.2 in 40 or so minutes which doesn't exactly qualify me for tour de france, but hey, I am an old guy.
But that is what I am calling fun until the ice patches are gone from my canyon road.3 -
