LOL at Mike's comment on whether Connie can control Steve's hearing aid with her phone.

Took an online hearing test yesterday on the Miracle Ear website, had a perfect score. If I pass their test (they want to sell me a hearing aid), I guess my hearing is fine. Just the damn ringing driving me mad. I just don't have time to make an appointment with an audiologist if they are just going to tell me my hearing is OK and to live with the ringing.

Steve, it appears Noom wants my money. I think I will stick with free MFP tracking calculator.

    Be OP ;-)

Off to DS's apartment to patch a whole in the wallboard (that the plumber left). He was supposed to start at his PO job this week, but hasn't yet. Paperwork related to disability accommodations or something. My fingers still crossed it goes well. With his 1st transplant he was often in and out of the hospital over the 20 years he had it, so holding down a job was a tenuous and fickle thing. Hoping things are different.

Hiked 3 miles late yesterday, ending in moon and starlight. Have been in better control, I feel, since I gave up sweets this lent, now two weeks so far. It's almost like dealing with the cravings of an addict, I suppose. I feel calmer and am not rummaging around the kitchen every time I get bored or restless.

Sam, hope you're doing okay there. Steve, don't give Connie the bluetooth password to your hearing aid if you can help it... Lee, sounds like a nice time with the pups in WVA-- I saw a couple on my hike yesterday practicing with their dog and a decoy.

Time to make the coffee. Have a great day men.

    Good Morning!

Still fighting a very deep chest cough, and other than tiredness, that is the only real symptom right now. In terms of chills and body aches, had those yesterday, but feel a little better this morning. I woke up about 1:00 this morning with sweat. If I had a little fever going, I broke it then. We have had so many sick people around at work, that I'm not worried about spreading more joy with my symptoms. I also have a private office, so I have more limited contact.

Picking up the hearing aid this morning. Mike, a smart phone is only as smart as the person running it. Connie is "technology challenged". She could only hope to be able to control my hearing aid with her phone. I have no worries. Most of the time, her phone is in the bottom of her purse with a dead battery. I am more worried that the Russians or North Koreans will hack into it and feed me subliminal messages all day.

    Sam, keeping you in prayer.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Glad you're feeling a little better, Steve. Hope you kick the cough.

I started to register for an online hearing test, too, Lee, but got distracted. I wonder how it works. Hearing tests I have taken in the past involved sound-proof chambers and headphones.

Have to straighten out my shop before next week. I won't be using it for a while, and I don't want to leave it in a mess.

Good Morning! After 10 days, my cold has finally given up and I am breathing clearly again. In a cruel twist, nerve pain in my leg is flaring up a bit. Hopefully just moved too quickly in the wrong way. I recovered just in time to help get things ready for my eldest son's visit this weekend. I should check out the online hearing test.

Sam, I hope things improve today

•Totally with ya Lee. I made appt with ear doc because of fluid in ear and they didn't offer medical help as much as hearing aid sales. I also have tinnitus.
•TsPs and best wishes for your DS and the post office Mike.
•Lol Steve about DW and your bluetooth hearing aid. Hang in there w your cough.
