I'm Simon and am giving this another shot. I currently weight 235lb come down from 243lb I am trying a low carb high protein approach. Would be really interested to know if anyone has had any success with this.

    Hello to you both. Simon, just wondering what the basis for your approach is? Because if you eat too much protein the body will convert it to glucose, same as it does with carbs.

    Hi Simon,
    My start weight was 226lbs and I’m down to 202.6lbs which isn’t bad. I have been eating a fairly low carb higher protein diet, mainly because protein fills me up, while carbohydrates don’t. I think most diets work, you just need to find the one that suits you. It’s just a matter of maintaining a sensible calorie deficit.
