Hope everyone survived Easter! I'm still in a food coma!
15 in-laws who only believe if one talks loud - they must talk louder to be heard. Me and Cooper retreated to basement lair. Ugh.
This morning - I learn what the builder will come up with as a solution for fireplace fiasco. ON Friday they told me they have to remove the stone fireplace (already installed) or install a chimney on the exterior. The chimney on exterior will make me lose walk out patio doors in basement. No easy solutions! Ugh....
Wet day in DC.

Mornin' BBB.
Sounds like a real SNAFU, Skip. Might even be FUBAR. Dang.
15 in-laws? I only had DMIL and Niece-in law. Actually pretty nice...the drama stayed home.
Did the snow miss DC? We got a 1 inch dusting of white stuff overnight.

Good Morning,
Full masonry fireplace or prefab insert, Full masonry will have to have a solid foundation where with insert they can add supports under for rock veneer. If you are not burning wood regularly one would not need masonry.
Prayer for Cooper,
May Lou's tire that passed with way too few miles but did keep Lou safe (such loyalty) RIP!
Have you taken out a warrant for that pothole?
More snow for NE, while we had 80's over the weekend and should be nice today; but that will change as the Masters begins.
On scale this morning heaviest since 2009, have to get serious.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am0 -
Good morning
I’ve been doing s great job tracking up 5 pounds this morning. It’s all water. It will come off in no time. I’m my heaviest too
Snow fell last night. Looked out the door and I think we got 1-2 inches. Will it ever end?
We decided that Friday will be the day. I’ll call the vet this morning make the arrangements
Sam knows a lot about fireplaces.
Have a good day.0 -
Good morning.
So, who's at fault, Skip? Whoever it is should pay to get what was promised on their own dime, no? So, they should tear down the house and start over.
Funeral arrangements on the tire are still pending. I know that there's nothing warranty wise that can be done, but I at least want to spend a few minutes with her where we first met. KWIM?0 -
Done with morning walk with The Woo and core workout. Suit pants were a little snug yesterday. Lengthened regular distance...and really should start lifting and doing yoga again. Things are traveling south.
Still snowing here.
I'm a bit nostalgic when it comes to fireplaces and their chimneys. If you are gonna have one, then make it right. It should be the only thing left standing after a tornado blows the house away.
Lou, pretty impressive performance by that tire.

Good Morning BBB.

Easter/Passover dinner was wonderful - a beef roast, roasted potatoes, and salad.
I’m going to tighten the belt too - I’ve been taking in more calories than expending - easy math.
God-Daughter’s wedding this weekend so that is a good incentive to lose a few!
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Good Morning!
So starts another month end....
Will there be an end to this winter?

Have a great day!0 -
Morning all
Ron is feeling a touch better but I think it just straight home for us instead of the intended stop for lunch and a beer.
I won't mind the free day at home. I have a conference call at 4:30 but maybe can fit in nap if we get on the road soon.0 -
Good morning BBB.
Something like your fireplace fiasco is inevitable when building a house, Skip. We had several, including a foundation that didn't match the perimeter of the house and a driveway that didn't reach the street - really. Try to maintain your composure, but remain firm. Good luck.
Very nice Easter, with family. The choir rocked during our church service. At the end of the Hallelujah Chorus, some in the congregation actually shouted. Presbyterians don't generally do things like that.
Today I start tracking. The upward drift on the scale must stop and be reversed.0 -
Good morning
((((Cooper))))
Sorry Skip, hope they can find a good solution.
I'm tired today and weight is up still from Baltimore trip and this past weekend. I need to just get back at it. Vanilla cupcakes didn't help, yeah plural.yikes
1-2 inches of snow here tomorrow into Wed. Where's spring?
April fooled ds2 with texting him a photo of a huge buck in our woods, lol. He fell for it.ha
Enjoy the day

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Good day yesterday. Good church service, good meal and a good motorcycle ride.
- I must have missed Lou's tire mishap. I guess tires are like potato chips. They'll make more.
- Good luck with the fireplace Skip. I agree with Dave, you almost have to expect something.
- Breakfast with the Romeo's. Darn golfers in town for the Masters took our regular table.

- I feel your pain Steve. Sam, are you down to 3 more month ends?
- I'm with Cooper.

Aweee, Cooper (((Kelly and family)))heart breaking
Is the vet coming to you/him Kelly?
I had ours come to our house, since Shadow didn't like going to his office. No way was I going to put her through the stress she experienced going there. She'd know we were going there a mile into the drive, never could figure out how, she loved car rides, except to there. Him coming to her was so peaceful for her and all of us at home, etc.
My T & P's go out to you all, this is a hard time for sure0 -
Rainbow Bridge has a great guide.... Sarah Jane will show Cooper around.....She knows where all the great places are to relax.....who all the cool kids are.....and the best places to run.... Take comfort knowing Cooper won't be alone!
So sorry.........0 -
We’re taking him there
So, we’ve never had a pet cremated but we are doing it. The business is supposed to call me before Saturday.
Not sure how it all works out.
Thank you all for your kind words.0
