Returning to training, new to this MFP group

I found out a few weeks ago that my martial art has expanded their long distance training to include the "regular" art (Hwa Rang Do) and not just their "beginner" program (Tae Soo Do). I got my TSD BB over 10 years ago, but then moved, and eventually my training got halted due to no instructors in even a remote area, and the long distance program was only covering the TSD program.
So stoked, I've waited 10 years and seriously considered relocating just to be able to continue to train. Tried other, local schools, but they just didn't do it for me in some way.
So, put in my official application earlier this week, and have started with refreshing my memory on all of my old materials. Thankfully my gym buddy is down with joining in, so I'll *hopefully* have someone to train with for a little while anyways (if he joins the TSD program that would be even better LOL).
Other than my horribly stiff hips (making any kick to the side downright pathetic), seems like the muscle memory isn't as far gone as I thought it might be. The mental memorization part, however, is another story
Glad to find a group here to chat with as well, overall fitness is pretty dang important for my chosen sport (motorcycle racing), and the HRD training should fit in nicely I think.
