Saying Hello!

Hello everyone! My name is Breann, I’m 26, and my biggest goal is to get my sodium intake under control. Last year I used MFP and lost 30lbs in 3 months, mostly by cutting sodium and keeping my calories under 1800 a day. But then I met my girlfriend and starting going out to eat more/sharing snacks and gained most (but not all) of what I lost back. :#
So I’m back on my low sodium/moderate calorie kick and hoping to make a food lifestyle change that will stick!
Happy to be here and talk with everyone, and hopefully help each other out!

Hello and welcome back to MFP. I have been on/off here since 2012, but most weight loss has been between 2013-2016 I been in a horrible plateau and actually gained back about 30 lbs....FML....hoping this helps me lose but i need to get more strict with my exercise, which is virtually non-existent besides walking because after a long day of work im soooo tired. Hope we can cheer each other on! Good luck! GLEN

Hello! I had the same issue! I love my girlfriend but, my goodness, we really did have that "cupcake phase" both figuratively and literally. I'm back here too to drop all those sweets I ate haha good luck on your journey!!

Welcome back! I can completely relate, my wife has a sweet tooth to rival my own, and she is a firm believer in "treat-yo-self" so she's always bringing home goodies, or convincing me that we "deserve" a night/afternoon at the pub. I've had to learn to plan for desserts and save extra calories for the weekend because after just a few months of not watching it I had gained 10 freaking pounds back.

    Welcome! :)
  • Hello! My name is Samantha, I'm 22 (turning 23 in August). I'm here on MFP to monitor my carb, sugar, and calorie intake as I was really recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes as a result of weight gain caused by PCOS (ugh lol). I've got a goal weight in mind, and I joined this group to both give and receive support from my fellow LGBTQ+ members :) Good luck!

Seems like lesbian weight gain is common Lol! I met my girlfriend two years ago and gained back 80 lbs of what I had lost! Sometimes, I swear, all we do is eat!
