Okay, so I made it clear that I like Taylor Swift. I discovered her music really when “Shake it off” played on every station that I listened to, and I loved it! She’s the only artist that I actually have downloaded a whole album which is called Reputation. Her words speak to me because as an older person listening to her songs, I have been probably been in every situation that she sings about. Is she the best singer, probably not, but her songs make me nostalgic about situations that I have been in at one time in my life.
So, I recommend Taylor Swift’s latest album.

@HappyKat5 Thanks for sharing. I'll have to check it out. I like most of what I've heard of hers.

I'm a big of a fangirl for Home Free. They were one of the Acapella groups on the show Sing Off and won their season. They do some covers but also have good originals. I love working out to their upbeat stuff. I also enjoy walking to them. They are one of the only groups I've seen more than once in concert. In fact I've seen them 4 times :)

So I don’t really have a music style suggestion but I was walking on the treadmill and get back up again from trolls came on and it was a great motivator.

I guess this can be classified as Canadiana. My favourite artist and band was Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip. Gord passed away on October 17th of brain cancer and the country had several months to celebrate his life including a cross country tour which we went to when it was in Toronto with my son and his wife. Then we watched the final concert of that tour from our cottage with my son strumming along. Not a dry eye in the house. When he died even the Prime Minister cried. Here are the top ten songs with videos https://www.cbcmusic.ca/posts/12502/the-tragically-hip-s-top-10-songs-a-cbc-music-poll Hope you like at least one. (Also, do any of you know of this band already?)

I'm a big Clay Aiken fan, but most of his songs are more appropriate for the cool down or warm up part of a workout. Here's "Forget I Ever Knew You", which I hope to say about my fat self, and "Weight of the World." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIL88CQ2rZw

Never heard of them. I added one of the videos to my watch later list.

I was a teen in the 1980's, so I love the classic arcade game intro and they sing well, too.
