Mornin' BBB.
Work this am and then off to Canisteo NY for amateur trial tomorrow with Babe.
Got bare root roses in last night after work with DW. We laughed that we were planting English roses in the rain (it rains a lot in England...kinda like the Pac NW).
Fun fact Kelly, one of my many jobs during my college days was as a pool boy for a residential lake community in Oklahoma. I preferred life guarding (less work and sunglasses allowed oogling). Good to hear that pool maintenance is less a chore these days.

A fun fact about me ... hmm ... well, I was a total brainiac geek in high school, and traveled around competing in math and science tests. I also competed in the art fields, and had a painting tour the US, as well as winning a local jewelry design contest and had the piece I designed actually made and auctioned.

I shook candidate George McGovern's hand, in 1972, and was immediately knocked to the ground by the Secret Service (it was a week after George Wallace was shot). I also shook Richard Nixon's hand at the 1958 Lane County Fair. And I shook Queen Beatrix, of the Netherlands, hand in 1983, in a barnyard where 1st Cavalry Division headquarters was set up.

Yard work here today too. Hoping it won't take all day so we can get in a bike ride too.
Having some former coworkers and their kids over tonight for game night. Should be fun but also a trek down memory lane since we all met at younkers and now they are liquidating. Only one still works there part time.0 -

Rough morning - I ache all over. Mover day went well. I opted to save $360 and vacuum and sweep floors myself. Meeting realtor at 1245. I hope this is it.
New house ready in two weeks - though after walking through yesterday there is a TON left to do. Fingers crossed.

Good morning.
Cecilia and I will be hitting the road in a bit to go to Elkhart, IN to celebrate my upcoming birthday. Why Elkhart? I have no idea. I'd have pinged Lisa, but knew she had a full plate this weekend.
Because of the trip, I opted to skip WW today (I go weekly so they can count my WI stamp). So, since it was predetermined that I wouldn't go, I had the crappé of a lifetime this morning before when I would have normally left to go to WW... Man plans and colons laugh.
Fun fact - I used to work as a janitor at a girl's dorm in college. The things I've seen that can never be unseen...0 -
