Up early; trekking to airport for morning jaunt to Vermont for classes/graduation this week.
Seems like I blinked and the weekend was over. DBIL "graced us with a visit" yesterday.
Temps to soar into triple digits here today - glad I'm escaping to head North.
Hope you had a good trek to Olympic Park, SGM!

Had a nice visit with my family and watched my 16yo nephew pitch in one game (0-15)
We cleaned out the grout in the shower last night and will redo tonight so it has time to cure while we are in Texas.

Day 3 of this heat wave. Storms maybe later. I hate that, makes for tornados when it's hot like this.
3 day work week and it's vacation time to NC.
Lots of work to be done at lake before we can set up rv there. I'm collecting Escavating quotes now. We're hopeful for maybe mid July.

Good morning BBB friends.
Had a great weekend of camping. I've always enjoyed tenting it, but the grandkids make it all the better. All that tidepool examining, sand castle building, stump climbing, running, exploring ... too much fun. I hung the tent and sleeping bags to air out when we got home. I'll pack them away today, and we'll be ready to go again.
No poo burying, Skip - with flush toilets a couple hundred feet away, the rangers would have objected, I'm sure.0 -

The community we live in has several pools. I graced the main pool with my presence this weekend. Surrounded by a pool of "10's" - (male and female) - I suddenly felt insecure. Yup - my knobby knees were burned; but my shoulders and back were protected. NO WAY I was taking my shirt off around these hardbodies.

Last time I pitched a tent, the folks at Victoria's Secret asked me to leave, Dave.
I'm not as good with the touchy feely meeting topics, both as a leader and member. I take feedback from my clothes, but don't compare myself to others or an ideal, so it's hard to relate to the topic.0 -

me either, Lisa. The class A trailer we rent for race weekend with hot shower and granite floors is hardly camping - but as close as I want to get.
