Arrived in VT to a phone blowing up - alerting me of a small house fire (electrical). Tried to race back to catch evening flight home; only for the flight to be cancelled; stuck in hotel; back at airport for a 6a trek back to DC. Everyone safe - just really freaked out. It never ends.

Apparently Home Depot didn't connect steam hose all the way to dryer; the leak finally worked its way through the floor and into light ballast on floor below. Ugh.

The day can only get better......right?

    Mornin' BBB.

Oy Skip. You just can't win for losing. Glad everyone is safe, except for maybe the guys from Home Depot.

Coincidentally, I am meeting the Fire Marshall this morning at our clinic for yearly inspection.

Funny story about the "10" pool. Did you feel like a creepy old guy? Do they have a over 40 pool?

Had a good rain last night. Not supposed to get over 80 today.

Yellow squash and zucchini on the vine. Should be ready to pick by this weekend. Some tomato plants have tiny tomatoes. Same with eggplants. Waiting for cucumbers.

    Good Morning BBB.
No offer yet - our agent is in contact with the showing peeps. If no offer today we will reduce again.
Washing Jack today for commercial shoot tomorrow (depending on weather) - he is to be a service dog (handicap assistance) in an outdoor shoot. No other details.
Bought an iPad stand that is a game changer. When we are living in the RV I will not have desktop so the stand will help with getting a good angle for video calls and webinars.
Bill - that is scary. The last thing that you, Carrie, and the inlaws need.
Lee - I still have garden envy.
Sam - we are hoping for a good report from the doctor.
Mary - are you doing water and sewer hookups for the RV?
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good Morning!

Skip, so sorry for the fire scare! I know that you don't need that at all in your life. I do hope that the day gets better for you.

Not too much going in the garden here. because it went from cold to over hot in a flash, we planted four cucumber hills, and have three plants on two hills, that's it. The tomato plants are less than knee high. At this point in the year, we have already had half of our average above 90 days, and it is not even summer yet. The weather guys were saying this past weekend that we are so far at the 3rd most 90 degree days at this point in the year, in more than 130 years of record keeping. Only worst are the 1934 & 1936 dust bowl years. Scary stuff.

I am an Eagle Scout. I did a bunch of camping back in the day, but not so much in the last 30 years.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,
Countdown mode, 6 work days counting today.
Rheumatologist yesterday says I'm better than back in March; degenerative joint disease, inflammatory polyarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, seems about same to me but I'll take better.
Lisa, bet Jim is glad you are not able to pitch tent like Lou.
Raine, activity is good; has feedback said price was high?
Bill, totally understand scare; we've had two fires in two different homes as we were moving in; one was where DMIL left rags on top on heater to dry in basement other HVAC did not convert gas to propane.
On good note, DW, DMIL and grandkids are at St. George FL till Wednesday, house is so quiet and peaceful.
Continues very HOT, and summer does not start till Thursday.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Good Morning
Glad everybody's okay Skip wow scary

    Good one Lou

Triple digits in North Carolina too, yikes, I hope it cools off.

Yes Raine, we installed electric, water , and septic tank back in 1997. I have to get the Water and Electric turned back on and the septic inspected.... can't do any thing till the trees are cleared and the driveway relaid, and trailer pad. Property has been abandoned since 2007 when xh passed.

Crazy big downpours here yesterday afternoon. Rain gauge showed almost 4 inches.

    Have a great day everybody

    Good morning BBB friends.

Yikes, Skip! Glad all are OK and everything was contained.

Still crossing my fingers, Raine. Hoping some good news comes your way.

So close you can see it now, Sam.

My DW grew up in a city in the Philippines. Camping was not something she ever considered. She started as a way to share experiences with me and her son. Now she loves the time out in nature - though she is happy to get home to her own bed and bathroom.

    Good morning.

I once went for a summer camp overnight when I was 6 or 7. Then the tornado came. Seriously. That happened. A ton of grade school kids, high school age counselors and a couple of adults with frickin' tents. We had to force march to a nearby pavilion (just a roof on stilts and open on all sides to the weather) and ride it out. It was awful.

And that's why I camp out at the Hampton Inn today.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Yowsa, you don't need those kinda scares Skip. Or should I say Flash?
    • Had coffee with the neighbors, got a haircut and now off to my monthly WI.
    • Met new neighbors from Glenview, IL. I told them I had 'connections' in that area.
    • Mary, how far is the lake lot away from home? Sounds like a nice get away spot.

    Good afternoon
That had to be quite frightening!
I don’t like to camp. I do like to fish and hike and all that.
Mary, I need details. How far is the site from your house? How many acres? I remember you saying it was on a lake? So, boat next?
Raine, good luck. Sounds like you’ve got real interest this time.
Dinner tonight with my mom and sis.

and, details means we want pics of the new swag and location when you get set up! You've done a keen job on your landscaping and new home! #impressed!

Raine - sending all the realty mojo I can muster your way!

Soooo. update. .52 cent o-ring (remember Challenger disaster) caused us $12k in damage! Flooring; drywall repair; electrical work. Home Depot is covering it to include my lost costs from flying home prematurely from VT- but what a huge CF!
