    Good Morning!

Hard to believe that it is the end of June. Another hot one on tap! We've been flirting with 100 for the last several days. Could rain today, tomorrow supposed to be in the mid-80's. I hope I remember where I put my coat.

Trying to get several things done around the house today. I have a ton of projects that I could work on. Maybe Connie will have an idea on a way that I can find an escape. Thus, the circle, and why I have a bunch of projects that I can work on. Too hot to do much outside today! I do need to pick up my tiller from my sis-in-law.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

I finished framing my little wood shed (eight feet long, two feet deep, five feet high) yesterday morning. I'll do the outside cladding and roof, today, then move my stockpile of turning wood out of my shop. That will free up a big chunk of shop real estate. Oh the possibilities.

Even though I spent four hours workijng with my hands yesterday, my hand isn't aching much this morning, and my fingers didn't lock up the way thay have been. Whether this improvement is from the steroids I am taking, or just the normal course of recovery, I don't know, but the change is welcome.

Another cool day, with a chance of showers, today. As usual; you just take the weather over most of the country and know the PNW will be having the opposite.

Did a 45 minute walk before breakfast, before the heat hits. Supposed to be 90s today. Hotter next few days. Going through my camp things, getting ready for next weeks canoe trip. Have to varnish paddles, patch dry bags, and figure out what to bring.

Sleep lab called, Overnight test July 16. Still using generic Medicare covered CPAP. Apnea level was below three last night, but FitBit says mostly light sleep, not much REM or deep sleep. No idea why some nights are better and some worse.

Stay cool, Steve & others in hothouse; Dave enjoy your cool rainy weather, and your pain relief, hope it lasts. Woodshed sounds ideal.

Good Morning! We may creep up toward 100 today. I think I will stay indoors. I had to really push myself out the door today for the early WW mtg. Feeling very stiff. But I was down .8 so it eases the pain so to speak. Trying to motivate myself to do my workout.

    Mornin' gents.

I woke up doxycycline deficient this morning. Neck and shoulder and back so painful that I had difficulty getting out of bed, much less walking to the bathroom. Broke out in sweats. Was in Maine 3 weeks ago where the ticks were just dropping out of the trees and although I did not find a bite or embedded tick, the nymph and larval stages are pretty small. Not sure if lyme, erhlichia, or rocky mountain spotted fever (rare up here), but 5 hours after first dose of doxycycline, I'm about 80% better. Neck, shoulder, and back pain is just a memory. Pretty dramatic. I plan on following up with primary care doc.

    Heating up here too.

BTW, the scale Gods smiled on me again this week

Be cool and be OP ;-)

    Good Afternoon,
Lee, sounds like me a few weeks ago; my reason for fear of ticks also lyme few years ago.
When weather gets into mid 90's and above I will go out till about 11 and then after 7 in evening; otherwise I'm in with air.
Workouts keep joints lose and pain down for the long run; I look at it as not an option.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am
