Monsoon season has officially started. It been overly humid on our morning walk and tonight we are having a majestic thunderstorm.
On our morning walk, we went to walk outside of our sub division but there were 3 Coyotes on the other side of the gates. I didn’t see them, I don’t wear my glasses when we all walk together, luckily Larry saw them and we turned around before we go too close.

Have successfully gone from 3 meals+1 snack to 3 meals a day! I read your hunger hormones tend to rise when you normally eat, so I decided to have that happen 3, rather than 4 times a day! (I am also less hungry in hot weather!)

Exercise: Did 1.5h jiu jiutsu with one arm since one of my hands still cant grab becouse of the dog bite. Not very surprising i got beat by pretty much everyone....

No time to exercise. My hubby is away and my mom’s aide was out sick. It was a very, very busy day for me. Worked for a few hours in the morning.
While helping her into bed last night, she lost her balance. Thanks to all of my work on my core and upper body strength, we did not fall and I was able to lift her into bed. So thankful for all the work I have put in working on building strength. It really saved us. Six months ago, I couldn’t have done it. A weird but important NSV.5 -
Pass Day #1
Exercised a ton - walked over 6.5 miles around Philly with over 17,000 but since I don’t eat back exercise calories (and don’t track what I burn) I was over on calories for the day. I tracked everything though and since I ate well for breakfast and lunch, dinner wasn’t horrible but did put me over.
Visited the beautiful campus of the University of Pennsylvania today

No gym today, so to get my exercise in I wrestled solo with my huge 4 man tent to see if the replacement poles were the correct size (cardio +yoga). Did a dry run of putting all the camping gear into the new Festival trolley and lugging that about (weightlifting + cardio!) and then moved the chest freezer from the dining room to the patio on my own (Weightlifting + sumo wrestling!!!!)

That's actually quite an effective exercise, learning to rely less on one limb pushes you to learn to use the others more. Keep at it and when you are able to use the hand again you may find you have improved in using the rest as well.0 -
