I'm going to take a few days off the challenge to celebrate being around for 40 years. I won't make winners circle, but I will be back early next week!!!!4 -

Pass Day #1
Exercised: yes
56 minutes, 10,466 steps
Walked/jogged 31 mins around house
Then did another 25 marching up & down stairs, with hand weights. To burn off...
Calories: no
2328 eaten (my best guess)
Calories Burned: 2170 (did as much as I could)
Over by +258
Not beating myself up. It is a rare occurrence.

Pass Day #1
What I learned:
1. I eat *really healthily* normally — today’s macros & micros are totally different than usual. More carbs & fats, less protein, double the sodium, sat dat is highest it’s been in 10 months:
2. I felt queasy this evening (the exercising helped) — rich food, which I don’t eat anymore
3. I felt cravings this evening, which I normally don’t. I realized it was blood sugar rise & ignored it. Exercised & drank water.
4. I need to find other ways to help celebrate my friends’ birthdays that does not involve food.
5. If I do host again, base the food on salads & have LOTS of fresh veggies available.
6. That my taste buds have changed.
7. That I succumb to peer pressure in social situations around food others have brought.
What I’m proud of:
1. I got rid of the foods that were “calling to me” right after, thus preventing continued unhealthy eating.
2. Didn’t beat myself up.
3. I enjoyed & paid attention to every bite.
4. I exercised more to minimize the net calorie overage.
5. I didn’t eat more when I felt the cravings in evening.
6. I kept drinking lots of water during the meal and since to feel more full.
7. I’ve planned what I will eat tomorrow!

Pass Day #3
Was traveling for about 18 hrs (we had 3 drivers). I have a husband that does not like to stop so no exercise and I was in the back seat with way too much food within my reach!
