Don't let the excuses stop you!! The hardest distance in exercising is from the bed to the street or gym.

@RangerRickL. The biggest danger to most people is a sedentary lifestyle. Kills people slowly and saps the quality of life. Its the old "use it or lose it".
Keeping active does not need to be exercise, just not sedentary. 20 mins a day at minimum. Makes a WORLD of difference.6 -

Ugg pass day #2. Pass day #1 got to me mentally and set some physical cravings in too. Pass days are no good for me. I don't feel at my optimal best. I know technically it's not a big deal but I just don't feel good afterwards.

A good day - all logged, exercised, and in good amounts. Had a good hike and garden time. Laughing to myself about using stallion poo on the rhubarb. It has to be superior to gelding poo I'm sure!4

Chuckled at your comment. Horse manure works great on our rhubarb, too! Not particular about neutered or gender specific manure, though.

Spent the rest of my day sitting on my derriere sorting through pictures. I thought I would share a collage of 4 pics from Flor og Fjære in Stavanger, a lovely botanical garden you would not expect in Norway. If you notice...you will even see palm trees, as well as a beach! It is truly beautiful, much more so than we ever anticipated.
They also have multiple robomowers around that keep the grass cut.

@w8goal4life Wow! With a robomower, almost everybody misses exercise. Great photos. Thanks for sharing.
@craigo3154 My favorite senior oriented nutrition/exercise/motivational book is Younger Next Year, by Chis Crowley
It is co-written by an internist. There thesis is that daily walking combined with 2 days a week of modest strength exercises pushes back by 70% the inexorable decline of decrepitude and old-age diseases.5 -
Today's report:

Crappy day at work sò came home not wanting to work out but I did anyways cause if I start that again it's a slippery slope to stopping watching what i eat and eventually give up. So basically gave myself a good talking to and did 45 minutes on treadmill. I'm pretty happy with myself. So 3 yes for me today.3
