    Muggy today. Heavy deluge yesterday.

Sorry about the hand, Dave. I do a lot of knee surgery in dogs and its disappointing when the patient/client are less than satisfied with post operative results. Often tincture of time is what is needed.

Love that you had a great time fly fishing, Mike! Wish I was out there with you.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning!

I have not been fly fishing since the 1980s. In 1990, the year after Connie and I were married, my car was stolen, and the $600 fly rod that I had in the back of the car was never recovered. I never replaced it. That had been given to me before I was married, when I still thought that I was moving to the Pacific Northwest.

So very glad that today is Friday. I was so tired last night that I was in bed at 8:20. Dang, I'm getting old!

    Have a great day!

    Morning!

Humid as the jungle here. Went for an early morning walk around trails at a nearby state park while it was still in the low 70's. Waterfalls are mere trickles, despite deluge yesterday--had serious T-storms and then a rainbow at sunset.

Errands and chores around home today. Maybe drive to REI to look at camping gear.

Cardiologist visit Tuesday. Keep wanting to get away for an extended camping trip, but stuff keeps getting in the way. Hopefully calendar will be clear after that. Next year, God willing, I'm scheduling all my doctors' visits after hiking/canoeing/camping season ends, and before ice fishing/skiing/snowshoeing season starts.

    Have a good one!

    Good morning gentlemen.

After receiving clarification from the State Parks, I am heading down to "my" lake again, this morning. I'll just push the gate open when I get there. Supposed to have a 50 percent chance of showers at the lake, this morning. I'll take a golf umbrella and rain jacket. Showers, here, are a gentle thing; not like the thunder showers the rest of you get. Fish like rain, anyway.

Good Morning! I am sorry the Dr confirmed your concerns about your hand Dave. Hopefully time will help it improve some combined with the gel to keep you at the lathe. I wouldn't mind seeing a shower or two. We still have a few more months before our rainy season starts. With all the dryness and fires you can only look skyward and wish for a downpour. Plumber coming this morning to work on a problematic toilet and some water pressure issues. Its gonna hurt.

Sadly I too haven't done much fly fishing since the 1980s. Good Luck Dave with the fishin'. Yeah we are going to the coast but looks like it is mostly today and tonight for some showers or drizzle there. Will be nice.

I arrived at the lake at 6:10, had my line in the water at 6:30 and was cleaning a limit of trout at 8:30. That was too fast. Wish I had more lazy time at the lake.

Glad you caught your dinner, Dave! Guess that gate has discouraged more fishermen than just you from going in fishing. Sounds like those fish hadn't seen a hook in a while.
