My usual horseback riding companions are a good horse ( this one is Shae) and a border collie, Chica. On Friday, a riding companion on my all brown horse, Charlie, took this photo of us.
The location is a prairie and forest preserve at which I am a volunteer park steward.

Coldest day in a while with snow on the nearby hills. Rain, lightning, hail, wind, low temperatures, so no walk.
Friends over for the afternoon.
Meatza for dinner (gluten free - pizza with protein crust (instead of bread based crust) - mince mixed with egg for binding - recipe from skinnymixer's - delicious).

I need to get out and walk I am feeling like I have to much on my plate. As I am still in my jammies putzing around the house doing odd things. I just need to get dressed and get out. So time to move till later.6

Great day! Laundry, basic house cleaning, meal prep, run, strength training, feeding animals at work, church, reading in the sun, me time.
All food tracked and way under on calories.
The week is planned and food all prepped. We start at 6am with some rolling...
Oh, and I have signed up to start judo in October! I have been wanting to work towards my yellow belt for ages but life kept getting in the way. Today I committed to start as soon as I get back from my mission trip to North Africa.7 -

I seem to be busy and out of routine on weekends so I sometimes forget to post so here's my 2 days. Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm cracking down on tightening up my eating and upping my workouts to get ready to go to Bermuda next month. I want to look good and feel great! It will be worth the push.5 -

Yes x 3 - a workout that had the towel in frequent play and lots of running around on with and for the horses and garden. Blackberries. Lots of blackberries.4

I started the day with a 30 minute early morning walk through the central downtown area of Chicago. It was so strange to walk across empty streets which are jammed with cars on weekdays. I ended the day with a high intensity horseback ride at a working trot speed. Both the horse and I were dripping with sweat at the end. Time elapsed was 120 minutes

Failed again. Actually, I snacked after dinner...ice cream...my downfall. I probably could have counted running around the house with my almost 1-1/2-year-old niece as exercise, though! LOL3

Yes x 2. I walked the dog, did squats, pull-ups and balance at the gym, but was 300 over in calories. . I had a friend over for dinner, and the wine and chocolate pushed me over the limit.2
