In the early morning of Sunday, I did a street art tour of central downtown Chicago. We call that area “The Loop”. It’s because the elevated train makes a big loop through the downtown.
I will be posting my street art photos as our discussion openers this week.

Worked from home today. Still tying to get back into work from home routine after so much travel.
@RangerRickL. Abstract large scale public artworks are often difficult to see the meaning behind. Picasso himself never recorded either the inspiration, nor the intended meaning for the piece.
In Melbourne we have a number of large artworks, some abstract (like the Vault - also known as the "Yellow Peril"), others just plain odd (like "cow up a tree" in docklands).4 -

Today was very Monday but I had a good solo drilling session on the mats and a good pt session with my guy. Legs hate stairs and it will only get worse tomorrow. Think I may keep the same weight on my squats until I'm used to doms. Starting super light but still suffering.
Good food choices and under calories (even if I decide to finish the chocolate). Avoiding wheat and dairy for 2 weeks to get over the sinus issues caused by an abundance of wheat. Dairy is fine unless my sinuses are already struggling so it's better to avoid both for now.4 -

Calories are tracked and all ok but on paper for the moment. Been busy catching up on admin and haven't managed to put it down on myfitnesspal. All is in order though, will put it down later.5 -
Sensible exercise for my recovery day: 20 mons biking and 40 kind later. Both were at v easy pace.

Great photos @RangerRickL. Looking forward to seeing more of Belgium. I'm away at the moment so don't always have Internet access and also dropped my phone and cracked screen so typing this is hard as it doesn't let me type all the letters so Im. I will be sore tomorrow! Worked both our oldest and our youngest horse today - the 2 needing the most leg. I was as sweaty as they were at the end but we had a good time. I also had a long walk and logged all and stayed within the reason.
The only public art on view nearby were international orange lines sprayed on the gravel road where it has washed out and needs urgent repair. Again. If they'd re-dig the ditch they would not need to fix the washout after thunder storms. But the paint job is lovely! Not Picasso, but someone had a good time doing it I'm sure.5 -

Monday I was up at 4:30 a.m. to get pushed by Emily the trainer. She should be kind to seniors! 50 minutes of cardio/strength & balance work.

In cities where tall glass skyscrapers reflect the older buildings facing them showing the new/old perspective does something for me. But having a Picasso to add to that is nice. I'll have to add the loop to my bucket list … nice.2 -

Somehow got behind on tracking trying to get everything caught up after our extended trip to the Northwest. I love being away but hate getting caught back up when we return. I have a nagging pain in the neck and my back is out probably from the long trip home. Will have to work a trip to the chiropractor into my day tomorrow.2 -
Yes x 3. My dog's injury is healing so we're going on longer walks. Then I took this weird gym cardio/dance class. It was hell! Lots of frenetic leaping around, and screaming. I snuck out before the end.2
