Welcome to the September 2018 Ultimate Accountability Challenge!
Some of you have been with this challenge for months and some are brand new. This is one of the hardest challenges to stay with throughout the entire month. FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!! Log every BLT (Bite, Lick, Taste). Stay strong and true to yourself....YOU WILL SUCCEED!!
Please feel free to share as much information as you feel comfortable sharing about yourself with the rest of the group. I look forward to getting to know all of you a little better. GOOD LUCK!

Back for my 4th month and at this point I should make winners circle for the first time in August. September might be tricky for winners circle as I'm traveling from 27th and don't know how much Internet access I will have for logging etc.
I spend my days working with animals (snakes, spiders and seals) and my free time training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've maintained at my current weight for 2 and a half years after losing 20kgs but pushing hard to drop the last 5 kgs to maintain at my ideal fighting weight because I hate weight cuts before competitions and it would be a healthier weight for me. I'm also working on my strength by adding in 2-3 weight lifting sessions per week. My division has most of the mma fighters so I need to match them for strength to get some of my techniques right on them. My next big competition is early December and I'm aiming for that gold!
I live in the beautiful South Africa and am excited for the start of spring because I'm sick of the cold winter weather! Summer is my favorite time and I spent any free time I have at the beach!5 -
I'm in! Triathlete, currently at goal weight but it's so easy to gain even with all the training that I'm still here logging, tracking, etc...besides I just like the place.
Wish everyone well on their journeys!4 -
I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. I am a runner. I usually run 5-6 km 4 times a week. I did slack off over the summer though
I also have done triathlons, but not for about 3 or 4 years and I was thinking maybe I should do one this spring.
I have 2 daughters who are 9&11. I teach kindergarten.
Tracking my food will be the hardest part of the challenge for me!5 -
This sounds like fun and a great way to be held accountable. I’m currently unemployed and have gained 17lbs since I quit my job. I spend my days at home taking care of the house and training my 11month old Lab.
I started back up on MyFitnessPal 3 days ago to help get myself back on track. I’m looking to lose 37lbs and achieve a goal weight to hopefully get to by years end.
Looking forward to the September Challenge and want to wish everyone good luck on their health journey.6 -
Goodluck! I’m trying to lose 31 pounds so we are pretty similar.3

I forgot to say that I'm trying to lose 20lbs. I've lost it before, but then it keeps coming back!2

Looking forward to my 8th month with UAC! Still haven't made the winners circle, but I'm still very proud to have made such great changes to my lifestyle. Have kept 35 pounds off over 4 years. Have also packed in a good amount of muscle.
UAC has helped me identify what really holds me from loosing the last 20. I believe it's all in the consistency of CICO. I'd live to loose the last 20 before Christmas, that's my goal. Will have to work really hard to pull it off!
I do a ton of dog walking, boot camps, and tennis until a recent knee injury. Planning to add swimming into the mix while my knee heals. Will be meal prepping also, to really keep calories in track.
Good luck to everyone!5 -
Hi there! I'm looking forward to jumping into this challenge!
I'm Tanya, 30, a British ex-pat living in Toronto! Started working on my weight issues this time around about 2 weeks ago after I realised that I had hit some kind of emotional rock bottom. I have about 200lb to lose so this isn't going to be something that will be sorted overnight! Saying that, I didn't get this size overnight so I'm up for the challenge.
I lost weight about 6 years ago and piled it on after moving across the Atlantic.
I work for Starbucks so when I'm working, I'm on my feet a lot. But when I'm not at work I usually stay very stationary. I think this challenge will help me move a little bit more. Any physical activity is hard, but if I start off smaller and build up, I know it will get easier!
I've been tracking 100% for nearly 2 weeks now, since I decided to do this, but looking forward to the extra accountability!
Thanks for having this here- I thought it sounded really intimidating at first, but I know that the extra push is something I really need!8 -
Ready and rearing to start a new month, we can do this3

Hi there. Was just setting up a very similar challenge just for myself and found this group! My goals are an average of 10, 000 steps a day (i.e. 70, 000/wk), to track food in MFP, eat a minimum of 1250 cal per day up to my exercise adjustment. I strength train 2 - 3 days a week, my goal is to maintain muscle but get leaner. I have jeans I need to get back into!4

Hi everyone! First timer here... I work as a bookkeeper from home, more hours than I care to admit, and earlier in the year re-aggravated an old back injury. I've been on the mend for the last couple of months and the extra 50 lbs I've been carrying around sure hasn't made recovery easy. I've been tracking via MFP for a couple of months now and believe that the accountability this challenge offers will be the piece of the puzzle I've been missing! Looking forward to 09.01.18... Let's do this!2

Hello! I’m back to MFP this week and I’m so sad I didn’t stick with it before. I made it to my goal weight about 1.5 years ago and here I am back to lose the same 35 pounds I lost last time I was on here. I am hoping to reach my goal yet again and actually stick around to maintain this time!!!!3

September will be my 10th month participating in UAC. I often don't make Winner's Circle...but I come back month after month for accountability to no one other than myself. This is a terrific group of participants who choose to live a more active and healthy lifestyle. We are all winners for participating, even if some days are not as good as others. The most important lesson is to always be aware and mindful of the relationship between exercise, calories and tracking. The next most important lesson is that you are not alone in this journey. You are encouraged by all members to continue throughout the month for accountability to yourself, even if Winner' Circle won't be met. I will not be making Winner's Circle in either September or October due to extended travel...but will participate for the portions of those months when I am able. I will not say "good luck" because your luck is what you make it. I will say, I wish each of you the very best for meeting your goal for September. Let's make it happen!7

I'm from Australia and summer is just around the corner, so this challenge is perfect for getting rid of that extra winter 'warmth'! I'd like to lose 5kg but would be happy with 3kg.3

Hello! I'm looking forward to this challenge as I'm a big believer in accountability. I have about 60 pounds to lose and am so sick of myself for using one excuse after another to go off the rails. Not this time!!3
-
Hi all!
I’m very excited about this challenge. I have about 40 pounds to lose...so it begins tomorrow!
We’ve got this!

Hello! I'm a 20year old girl from southern USA, I've been working on my fitness journey sort of on my own (with a lil support from my family, but I've been mostly going through all my struggles lately, alone). I can't wait to begin tomorrow, Saturdays are one of my biggest challenges and it's gonna take a lot for me to not go to CVS and buy a bunch of junk food to eat after a long, tiring day of errands. I don't wanna fail on the first day lol, so I'm really pushing myself to stay strong.
I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I struggle a lot with trying not to put back on all the weight I lost, and hopefully an accountability challenge will help a lot with staying on track Doing this with a bunch of other people seems fun!
My goal is to follow CICO, do daily hour-or-so long walking + daily
yoga/stretching/meditation, and strength train at LEAST 2x/week for a minimum of 30-45minutes. My goal is also to stick to /healthy/ treats only, no chips/cookies/cake/chocolate bars for a while (and if I have any, it MUST be portioned & tracked). So I gotta trade in my Hershey bars for protein bars, and my ice cream for applesauce, yogurt, or sugar free pudding lol.
Let's do our best!3 -

First time participant here. I participated in a challenge this summer that I failed miserably at because it doesn’t work with my schedule. I’m hoping this will be the incentive I need.3

Hey everybody! I'm a little late on my introduction but here it goes! My name is Stephanie and I'm from North Carolina, USA. This is my first time doing the challenge and I am so grateful I came across it. I think this is the accountability I need to get a good start on my weight loss goals.
I have over 150 pounds I need to lose. I am going to break that up into chunks. I plan to lose 40 pounds to start off with and then set the next goal from there.
Look forward to getting to know everyone4
