Yes. I’m laboring today.
Ds1 came home late last night after his time in Chicago watching the Sox battle the Sox. Next weekend he’s going to WI to watch the packers and the bears.

Good morning, all! It looks to be a fairly quiet day around here. Anabelle is with her daddy for the day, dd27 is hanging out with friends, and I think dd18 works later on. Dd27 just came down wearing her "hot new outfit" that dd22 sent her in the mail to try to cheer her up ... isn't that the sweetest thing? I love that they love each other.
Maybe I'll work on music. The services resume this coming Sunday for the year.0 -

Hope all have a Great Labor Day,
In our neighborhood it's another day, most retired, men's breakfast this morning poker this evening.
Spent yesterday afternoon doing family counseling, think I'm getting too old for stress; hope it works out for couple; wish I could just tell them to grow up but does not work that way. Each needs to see themselves and spouse as well as view points and recognize how childish they are being. Left with them promising to start and end each day telling other they love them and agreeing to start actively attending a church which I believe gives great support.

Watching the grandkids this morning, while DS and DDIL build a new back porch on their 100-year old house.
Our hot weather is over, for the year. Nice, though. Today should be in the low 70s.0 -

Rain here through the night and continuing this morning.
I believe the couple loves the house. They brought their adult son. Our agent says they need to sell their home so that is a road bump.
Lisa - I love hearing about the girls. So cool that they are not only sisters but close friends.
Sam - I bet you are a wonderful counselor. They are lucky to have access to you.
Kelly - dun that DH is going to some football games.
Lee - next trial date?
Steph - did DH get the computer we wants?

We spent the rest of the day having BBQ and a couple of beers.
FIL is still staying here. Can't remember if I told you all. He does a ton of volunteer work and picked up bed bugs somewhere along the way. So while his apartment is being fumigated, which sometimes takes weeks, he is staying with us. He is a pretty easy house guest exceot he likes to eat dinner so early. If I'm not working on it but 5 or so he keeps hitting that we could go out. Lol
He leaves for Florida next week for 5 weeks so hopefully they will be gone when he gets back.

DS1 is driving up from Columbus to Lambeau for that Packers Bears game with a couple of buddies.
