Today is Labor Day, a holiday in both the USA and Canada. In the US, it's the cultural end of the summer season. Schools and Universities are have begun their fall semesters and the days are getting shorter.
This is when we start to hand off the baton of summer to those of you in the Southern Hemisphere of South Africa and Australia. Do we have any other members in countries in the South?

Yep, I'm from Australia. The days are getting longer but not warmer yet.
Also yes x3 today. I did a compound exercise program at the gym this morning based on one of the blog articles on here over the weekend and it was a killer, I'm sore everywhere. But a good sore!3 -

Spring is here which means rain. Everyone faded on morning rolling during the night so I woke up early on my day off for no reason. Went to train with the team. We did warm up and take down drills. Then they started boxing so I left to run errands (I don't enjoy that aspect but they are mma fighters so it is part of the training!) I did get a good session in with my rehab guy. Making progress with correct my squat form.
Snacked too much while out and only logged part of it on the run. Got home and logged the rest which meant the supper I had planned would put me over. I ate popcorn instead and stayed within goal, meaning today was a success.
Tomorrow is planned and is normal routine so easier to stick to the plan. Food is prepped where needed and all logged already. Gym in the morning, yoga at lunch and Jiu Jitsu in the evening! With work in between.4 -

Daughter is home safe and sound. Thank goodness.
My parents are no longer considering moving to my sister's. Why because she said NO visits fine no move. My mom was mad she goes she has guilt tripped me for years now when we are considering it she says NO. She goes things are going to change. LOL I know she's just hurt this will pass.4 -

Happy Labor Day here from Florida! Weather was splotchy here today but still a good day. Calories were kept in check and workout was full grit! Supposed to be in Bermuda next week and I see storms brewing. Fingers crossed!2 -

Tired today, feeling a lil lazy but I made myself exercise anyways and it was way better than sitting at the computer all day. I plan on strength training tomorrow
Had munchies today, ate two sandwiches and some chicken skin and baked beans and even a sugar free pudding cup w/ peanut butter but I kept everything portioned and tracked so I wouldnt go overboard. I really wanted to eat chips and chocolate and keep eating from the peanut butter jar, but I didn't!! Proud of myself 🌟2 -

Holiday freedom leaves lots of time here at the farm. Took 3 kids on horse rides while I walked with them and led the horse. Walked for 50 minutes. Later I rode a horse for 30 minutes. The ride was cut short by a big rain storm.

I went for a run this morning. My running partner for 12 km. She's training for a half. I didn't run a ton over the summer so I just joined her for the first 5 and then walked home. I also started b4lift4 today. Anyone else doing it? I always run, but struggle with any kind of strength training. I'm hoping this program will do it for me!
Went for supper at friends. Turned down wine and dessert. Tracked all food and was under goal.2 -
