In this stylized map of the United States, it shows our regions. I live in the state of Illinois, on the western edge of the Chicago metroplex, in the Midwestern region.2 -
You can find Chicago which lies along the western shore of one of the largest fresh body lakes in the world, Lake Michigan. The dark grey shaded area is another representation of the Midwest of the USA.

Exercise: Yes, 26 minute walk, 5,259 steps for the day. Considering that I was chained to my desk with work all day, I am claiming the victory.
Calories: Nope, LNS stress ate enough to put me over on calories. Turning on the TV to unwind for the day is a dangerous place for me to be.

Pass Day #1
Exercise: Yes sorta, but not very much. Mostly just walking
Calories: NO i had a binge
Tracked: To my reluctance & shame, I tracked every single food I binged on last night. Something I never do.
Welp, gotta have an unintentional pass day (at least it was towards the middle of the month, instead of the beginning). I had a bad feeling it was gonna happen on this exact day.
The power went out, and I had nothing better to do than just eat. And even when the power came back(which wasn't until nighttime), I still continued.
But, I'm still holding myself accountable for what happened. And despite the shame, I tracked every single food into my log. I ate over 3,000cal, double my calorie goal. I honestly never ever log my binges, too scared to see the calories. But I have to face the fear and be more honest with myself.
I'm very disappointed in myself, if the power hadn't gone out, and if I had done more to be more mindful & in control, then this wouldn't happen.
However, I enjoyed the food I splurged on, and while I'm bloated & retaining water, I know it's not instant fat gain. All I can do to make this better is just forgive myself and move forward. I'll do some workouts and get back to my healthy eating and I'll be fine. Let's try to avoid this for the rest of the month! (my goal is to have less than 3 binges, cuz usually I get 6-10 binges in a month sometimes)
Just cuz I gave in, doesn't mean I gave up! I haven't failed if I just get back on the wagon, as long as I don't go letting myself spiraling back into another cycle.5 -
