Although, I consider the UAC a lifetime of habit reinforcement, I realize that team mates join up with a one month idea. So for those who are counting the days....there is only one week to go until the Winner's Circle Qualifiers are celebrated. Hang in there!!!

One of the people I raced with Saturday posted on youtube his goggles video of the finals race from the weekend. (I didn't record from mine, probably should have). He finished 3rd, only 2s later than me in a 4 lap race. Was interesting to see how my quad flies from the outside in a race as it was in view for about the 1st 1/2 lap (I usually never get to see it). Also gives a good indication of the pace these races are run at. (I'll post the link if anyone is interested).

Back on track (3xyes) after yesterdays unplanned pass day. That made number four in a month and I think that it was the result of being rather hard on myself and a little over enthusiastic about what could be achieved.

My wife is doing amazing. For someone who has been in the BMI obese range for over 40 years (all of her adult life), to show this much success in losing weight and reversing type 2 diabetes, I am immensely proud. She still has more progress to make, but I can see this time it is going to stay as it is a sustainable lifestyle change, not just a diet.

I am piloting this one.
To give a perspective of distance (as the fisheye lens distorts perception) and speed. Start to first gate is about 35 meters (40 yards) and from a standing start the distance is covered in about 3s. So effectively you are trying to fly through an opening smaller than a double door at over 40mph (and this is at less than 50% power - I am not comfortable enough yet in the controls to go faster and not collide with things).
The part I that still gets to me is that I finished 2 seconds ahead of person who's view the video is from.

Was in agony after Sunday at the gym, haha!, so just dog walking for exercise today. Well below calories. It's taken me weeks, but I'm learning what to eat to keep myself full on a low calorie diet. I don't feel like I'm starving and suffering anymore.2 -
