Another on in the books! Busy day ahead and traffic was sloppy wet this morning. Driving the beltway here in DC is like the game Frogger from the 80's - everyone jockeying for one position in and out in and out. Its white knuckle the whole time. Ugh!
Did we go in for an oil change and walk out with a new 5 Series? (asking for a friend)?

Yesterday at dog training, Tess was the teacher. At 11+ years, she showed younger dogs that are field trial champions how to do a water retrieve, including multiples. Babe did her big splash entry. She is always fun to watch.

Henry was thrilled to be at the dealership and everyone was very kind to him. I was exhausted. He’s exhausting!! I love him though. You can go to Facebook and see him. You don’t have to be my friend to see my page. I can tell he’s growing!!
Lisa, Jim’s hand has got to be painful! What’s up with his head?

Good morning BBB friends.
The grandkids are coming over, this morning. I have to take DGD to her pre-school and pick her up afterwards. We'll have the two of them overnight. DS and DDIL are volunteering doing maintenance at an elderly woman's house. It is part of a United Way volunteer day supported by DS's engineering firm. We also serve, who tune in Thomas the Tank Engine and read bedtime stories.0 -

Glamper cover idea cancelled, SO stopped at the local RV service dept and got some good winterizing tips, they say a cover (even those claiming breathable) only can create mold and critter problems, they don't recommend covering it, even in our snow ridden region. So, we wont.
Birthday Pie pick up at noon, and then my last party errand is done. Food prep tonite and the shinanigans start at 2pm Sat. Should be fun.

DD, DSIL, DGS and a friend of theirs is is coming for the weekend,
Have not worked out issues with jewelry, but they are trying to send stone I will be happy with, did look up values and based upon what I have is about 8% more than appraisal. They have agreed to swap the stone that is cloudy or take back and give store credit till I can choose different stones.
Agree Mary, sometimes covers can cause more issues than preventing; but be sure to check during winter make sure water not coming in.

Kelly, wish you were near by, could get you to paint balance of main floor; will not allow previous painter back.

Frogger was fun ... but that does not sound like fun, Skip! I am one who will find a nice middle lane and just stay there, usually. Less stress for me.

Sam, did you read a good book today? Anything you'd recommend? We love buying Anabelle books. When she comes home from library day each week, she always brings me her newest one to read to her ... I love that.

I had some Kohl's cash, so I picked up a new, soft, comfy U of M sweatshirt for Jim ... free of charge. I like free.
He has an appointment next week to look at those spots on his head, so I feel better about that. I'm pretty sure they'll need to take them off. And his hand is NOT doing well. It's crazy-swollen and sore. We'll probably have to go back in for that, too. His next appointment is Monday, but I don't want him to wait that long.
