    Good Morning!

    Tired after a long, emotionally charged weekend. The annual Walk Like MADD was a success, but it was cold and windy. We exceeded our financial goal, and everyone seemed to have a good time. Saturday night, I did a DUI check lane in Lawrence. We got several impaired drivers off the road. That was also a success!

    Today, I start the month end, quarter end process. Ugh! Connie calls it "my time of the month".

    Yes, go Chiefs. The Jets sure aren't going anywhere. Congrats on the Walk Like MADD. Pretty cool when you exceed your goals.

    Gotta love Connie's sense of humor. I am also glad I am out of corporate accounting & finance. Month End/Quarter End/End of Year and Budgeting (and re-forecasting) put alot of miles on a person. I was 6'3 180lbs when I started, now look at me.

    Demo day here. My eldest just got home from Oktoberfest yesterday so today we have 4 adults sharing the one remaining shower in our room. Glad it is finally getting started 2 weeks, 3 weeks off and then they start the master.

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Late checking in - for me, anyway. I was awake for a couple hours in the middle of the night, then, mercifully, managed to get back to sleep and didn't get up until 7:30. That's at least two hours later than my normal check in, here.

    It's rainy, today. Hope to get enough sun later in the week to get out for a hike again. It doesn't have to be dry, but I'd rather not hike in a steady downpour, either.

    Been into Atlanta and back this morning,
    Continues HOT, expected to hit 90's each day this week
    Could really use some rain.
    I'm so thankful I do not have to deal with month-ends, quarter-ends and year-ends any more; and yes DW also accused me of having a monthly period.

    Glad you exceed your MADD goals Steve. Back from Vegas and two days of 100 degrees. Great intimate show with Aaron Tveit (broadway actor and singer) in a cabaret setting with 250 people. Great fun indeed. Hope all in the path of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Rosa do ok with the potential flooding and flash flooding as it goes from San Diego thru Yuma AZ and has Vegas on the edge. More rain for some than they get in a year.
