We've grown by 15 more members today! Welcome! How was everyones day? Stay on plan? I had a good one. Stayed under my caloric goal despite dealing with some triggers/stressors at work. Each time I felt the urge to hunt down a vending machine snack I instead either guzzled water or walked a lap around the building. Tell us about your day!

Hi everyone. I ate to plan and within calorie goal for the day. Did a workout at the gym (mainly cardio). Have a few health problems at present that are being investigated so I'm pulling back on the strength and just doing longer cardio which is fine (low intensity). If I can just keep the intake side of things in check I will be back on track. My goals are to:
1) eat to plan within calories
2) exercise 5 times per week (cardio and strength)
3) no wine weeknights and 2 glasses Fri/Sat nights only
4) steer clear of the Lindt dark chocolate aisle!
5) No eating after 8pm

Hi, I ate according to plan yesterday. My problem was that I played Monopoly in the evening, which took longer than expected, and then when I got home my phone had no battery. By the time it was charged, it was 10.40pm. I still went out for a walk, but my goal today is to go for a walk a lot earlier. I have literally been told off twice for accidentally entering crime scenes when on my walk, so I don't think it is safe to be walking that late on my own. However, everyone I saw last night was really friendly. I only got home at 11.40pm.
I need to pop into the supermarket on the way home today to buy the things that the dietitian suggested yesterday. We'll see how it goes . Hopefully, the extra protein will help me feel better.3 -
Hello all. A tad late to the game, I didn't find this post till just this morning. My days have been a little off, a lot going on at home that interrupts my walking/getting in my 10K steps. Back on track today, I hope. Have a great day!2

Hello, I usually do 3 miles on the elliptical machine or treadmill in the mornings (Mon-Fri) - so more than half of my steps are done by 8AM. Then I work in an office and SIT for hours. UGH.
I work weekends at a second job, so depending on my diet for the week, I may or may not work out in the evenings. If I indulge on Fridays (my cheat meal day), then yes I will pop on the Netflix and get on the elliptical on the weekend. If I avoid my cravings and stay within my calorie intake all week, then I take a break.
My diet could use some help, I get a little bored. Salads, lean protein, rinse, and repeat. If ya'll have any yummy recipes ideas or snack suggestions, please share!2 -
I met my goal of going for a walk earlier. It was still light when I got home. Now to do the same tonight.2
