So I was on birth control amd losing weight at a pretty good pace after I had my son well I stopped birth control because my husband got the big snip and in the year since I have stopped birth control I have steadily put on 10-15 pounds and I haven’t done anything too different well starting a few weeks ago I got really strick about my counting to the point we’re my husband was asking if I was eating enough instead of eyeballing portions and I even upped my steps from 6k to 8k and I haven’t even lost a single ounce literally very frustrating! I never officially got diagnosed with PCOS the doctor mentioned i most likely have it well I made an appointment for October 2nd to get to the bottom of this and hopefully start birth control again
Has anyone gained weight from not being on birth control?

Birth control can help control PCOS. I'm interested to hear how your doctor appointment goes today. Good luck.

I know that the BCP I take mitigate the worst of my PCOS symptoms. I have been back on this for the last 6 years or so. I'm not willing to trying going off it to see if I gain weight, and I'm not losing well at the moment, but I'm not gaining either, so I'll take "easy maintenance" after years and years of huge gains without anything in excess....

We look forward to hearing how the doctor appointment and time since then has gone!
