- Stayed up late and watched the Rockies - Cubs game. What a great game. I know some of you think the wrong team won.
- I got the full blown crud. Temp of 101 most of the day yesterday.

Heading up the road to brave the Army pharmacy, this morning. Need to pick up a couple prescriptions for DW. Annoying, but there is no co-pay.

A friend from Chicago once told me Cubs fans were yuppie rich folk and Hollywood posers, while working people rooted for the White Sox. "White Sox fans drink a shot and a beer; Cubs fans have white wine spritzers," was the description. As a Cardinals fan from birth, I was inclined to root against the Cubs, anyway, but that confirmed me. Glad the Rockies won.

Good Afternoon
At lab for blood work at 7am, its been 5 weeks after Thyroid hormone adjustment. Again. Sighhhh. We'll see where this one goes. I thought getting it removed was going to make all things so much better. nah, not so much.
Go Brewers Go! Its obviously going to be a baseball weekend, though the Badgers and the Packers might do some winning too!
DS1 moved today, finally living on his own - no more room mates, though that was fine, just not so much for family house guests to come stay.... and the photos he sent me are making my heart happy for him, nice place and he is all set up. Amazing what 2 big strong guys can move out and in for $500 in under 2 hours. Can't wait to spend some time with him at his new place Nov. 2!
Hope those ailing get well super soon!
