I am always on the lookout for funny or bizarre things. Here is a photo of a box of lobster shaped lollipops for sale. I find them amusing to the extreme. The box warns that if you break any of the lollipops, then you are obligated to buy what you broke6 -

I vowed to spend as much of the weekend outdoor as it was possible. Guess I made it.
Great day to surf and really the first time I was out with other surfers not just my coach or alone. Felt a bit intimidated at first but worked out well in the end.

Phew what a day, the puppy had his Kennel Club Bronze exam today, not sure if it was luck, judgement or an oversight but he passed but this exam took 2 hrs so I had to storm across the fen-land at sunset to gain a calorie deficit to counteract a superb lunch cook by Beloved8 -

Visited the Royal palace and walked around Madrid city, but did not go to the Museo de Prado as it was getting past 2:00pm and I still had some work to complete (I know it is Sunday, but things need to be complete before I fly out Thursday).
Palace was very pretty (and interesting). No photos from inside as it was requested not to take them. I have a couple of panoramas from the courtyard though. I have the information app on my phone (and iPad) and it had better photos that I could have taken anyway (and MUCH more information). Toured both the palace and the armoury.
Very late now and early morning, so posting some of my photos from Madrid will have to wait.

Survived day one of house guest without needing to take a pass. Tracked, yes. Exercuse, yes. Calories, under allowance. Now just need to get through two more days.5

Calories could have been way over today because of a lunch at the church but I figured out what I would eat this morning and I worked out when I came home. Win-win!!5 -

Fellow Canadian here ... Turkey feast last night (I managed to NOT need a pass!) Light calories today in preparation for my 60th b'day fancy-restaurant meal tomorrow. Then that's it for extra-high calorie events until the Holly Daze season. Not to day that something or other might conspire to the OCCASIONAL slip-up between now and then ..... but feeling VERY optimistic about where I will be at the end of October. This challenge is doing my a great deal of self-awareness good.6 -

I've returned to my home and tomorrow to my work.
We had a great tour of New England states of the USA. What a beautiful place to visit in the fall.
