Virginia 1/2 Marathon

Anyone from the Virginia area running 1/2 marathon October 7?

    Crawlin Crab in Hampton Virginia is on October 7th. I'm doing that race, J&A races are the best!

    I hope the race went well. I’m running the Richmond Half Marathon in November. And hoping to do the Shamrock Half in March.

    Also hoping to run the Shamrock Half in March. But that's contingent on 3 things:

    1) Towne Bank 8K is also the host for the USATF Masters 10K Road Championship, as it was the past 2 years
    2) Having funds for an extra night in a hotel to make travel easy
    3) Being healthy enough to run an 8K hard on Saturday and come back to run a half on Sunday, without messing up my body while training for Boston

    In 2017, I didn't even know there was a half and a marathon until shortly before I traveled for the 8K. In 2018, I wasn't healthy enough to risk running a half the day after the 8K. Maybe in 2019 it will all come together.
