What's the weather like where you live? Here in the upper Midwest region of the USA, the summer is over and we are moving through the fall transition to winter. The leaves are rapidly changing from green into a multi-hued panorama. It's my favorite time of the year.

Hi all! Sorry I've been AWOL all week-- as soon as my daughter got out of hospital my mother-in-law went in. Between taking care of the horses for my one-armed kid, taking care of the old lady's chihuahua, and visiting the hospital that's a good 45 minutes away, I have not had time to keep up with you all. But everyone is fine and hopefully things will get back to normal in a couple of days. I have been eating half decently and enjoying cleaning horse stalls and carrying hay - the best meditative moments of every day. I'll be back in a couple of days!12

Walked to office towing suitcase. This was to be the main exercise for the day.
Busy day, then start long flight home.

Exercised?: Yes (20 mins walking in terminal in transit in Dubai)

Needed the stretch the legs, so did quite a bit of walking in the Dubai terminal. (few laps of the lounge that runs the length of terminal A).
Worked on the plane during flights.
Landed 11:05pm in home city. Home after midnight.
Booked for return flight on Monday. (Yes I need to fly 24 hours back after the weekend).

Tired, but glad to get out flying and have a break from work. Also get washing done and spend time with family. NEEDED the time home.

Lunch with good friends. Difficult to make time with both families having busy schedules. Reason for having to fly back as will not see the friends again before Christmas (and it's only mid-October).
In morning, before lunch, set up a drone track for local club. Lots of walking in setting up and organising others. Only got to fly for about 5 minutes myself as had to be home in time to help with lunch preparations before friends arrived.
Great afternoon. Good to catch up.
Pack for flight back to Spain 6:00am next morning (leave home at 3:00am).
Still managing to keep tracking and get exercise. Remains both a habit and priority.

Spent all afternoon sorting out my wardrobe of all the clothes that are too big ~ worse problems to have LOL hopefully others will have the benefit of my clothes as they have gone to the local charity shop8 -

SF Bay area: Weather has been the same every day here for about 2 weeks. Outlook is the same for the next week. Been about 80° and cools off with a nice breeze every night. Sunday felt like a beautiful spring day, which is my favorite. Can't complain2 -

guess it's another one of those "life happens" moments. mom and i spent all morning fixing the oven and i finally got to bake after a whole year! so i guess i had a bit too much fun with the food i made for dinner + dessert, my biggest mistake was eating too much peanut butter tho 😁 i did soo much walking today so hopefully that'll help make up for a little bit of those calories
the little cakes i made were sugar free and made with oat flour & yogurt so they were healthy (kinda calorie dense tho, and i ate like 2 and a half!) and soo tasty. i'm excited to bake more this fall/winter, even if i do end up eating a little too much of what i make. i'm happy and have no regrets i'm finally getting to make up for the bummy winter i had last year 🌟
(disappointed to have fallen behind so much, but there's no point in wasting my energy feeling bad over it, as long as i continue to take care of my health 💪)4 -
