Good morning BBB friends.
Everything went fine with my mom's pacemaker installation. She will be a bit sore for a few days and doesn't like at all that she will be unable to use her loom for the next eight weeks. When I told her it was only eight weeks and that they would go by quickly she responded that, at her age, a week was a bigger deal than it is for me.
Sorry the Brewers didn't make it. A Boston-Los Angeles World Series? No temptation to watch that. Can both teams lose?

Beautiful Sunday morning here - sunny and leaves continuing to turn colors. Big wind yesterday - we lost power for a few minutes in the middle of the night.
Dave - so glad you mom is okay. Every procedure is scary.

Bill - There is a reason that you and Cooper are not left alone very often.

Dug up this picture of a very young Tess with Sarah Jane in the background. Back then, Tess' nickname was "Mayhem". Any of you all remember when she got so excited in the truck barking at another dog with another hunter I was talking to outside, that she knocked my old Tundra out of gear and it rolled into a post supporting the club's pavilion? LMAO! You're not far from the truth! STRONG winds all night. Mr Cooper was more anxious than usual. Pacing all night - crashed finally at 4a rolled up in my bathrobe!
Today is our nemesis: Cowboys. Between that and Nascar - it'll be a good day! Planning to make a fall favorite: Tuna Casserole! DW/DMIL come home tonight.
Chimney is done. After filing a BBB report about no permits for original chimney - I requested an IN-HOME sit down meeting with the VP of Operations. He's visiting Tuesday morning. Looking forward to showing him how sloppy things have been!

morning gang
posted on FB yesterday that we are selling the house. Two interested parties already. Orbat least lookie lous.
Today doing one more purge of the kitchen stuff. Next week we are looking at a couple of short term apartments to see if it is worth the $500 savings to sell sooner. Will need a rental until late next summer until the van is done.

Third trial in a row Babe has blown Billy off. She has become trial wise. That means she knows the difference between training, where Billy can correct her and when he cannot correction her during a trial. This does not bode well for me going into the national. We will have to go back to fundamental training. Basically obedience stuff.0

Plans for day changed, will be traveling across state to birthday party and getting home late; but we are retired so guess it won't matter.

Sorry Lisa, date night did not go as planned, but hopefully there will be thousands more.
I don't always agree with what kids do; but then my parents did not always agree with what I did and how I've lived my life; hopefully we have raised them up to where after rebellion stage (maturity hits) they will follow examples we have set.
Dave, agree with mom at 95 eight weeks can seem like 8 months; funny how we view time as children then as elderly, we push as children and then drag as elderly.
Me believes Tess is trying for attention, wants you to know she is as important as Babe,
Dennis, will you have a few days in Rome before sailing?
Yes, we believe DMIL is showing signs of dementia; one reason we no longer encourage her to drive, afraid she will get off and not find way home.
Low 70's this week, fall is finally here for a little while any way.

Boohoo, oh well the Brewers gave us a great run, and I got an unexpected visit from Ds1, cant beat that! He's still sleeping but his breakfast is ready and waiting. He'll head out for his 7 hour drive quickly. With his homemade chili carepackage and pumpkin bread, lol. That's what I did while watching game from "home " last night. Glad he, ds2 and dgf got some time together both games. He needs to get to know Kayleigh better, I believe she is going to be around for a long long time, I hope ...if that's what ds2 wants.I know it's what she wants lol. Ds1 has reservations, but I think its just big brother protective of little brother.... wish Ds1 would find the love of his life, but that's up to him, right?! I don't think he's all that interested anyway. He's had heartbreak. He wants a dog.
Steph, have you and Ron spent a week or more in an RV already? If not, totally rent one, get a feel for your must haves, etc. Full timing is way different than vacationing in one, as you already know, I'm sure. I don't think I'd love it 24/7/365. Buts that's me..
Get a Blackstone grill griddle it's all the rave in the rv world now. And a handgun with training, just sayin.
I am gazing at the new picture for over the mantle I bought yesterday with my ds's birthday gift card to me. Deciding if it's a keeper. I think so! Been looking 2 years now since buying the house.
Good to hear Daves Mom is okay and healing!
Praying for the 13yo Wisconsin girl that's missing since they found her parents shot to death in their home. Yikes.

- Brewers had a great season as did the Braves. Only one playoff team gets to win their last game.
- I'm afraid we are not going to see much of Rome. It is just a starting point for the cruise. I am looking forward to the boat ride though.
