Today, my friends, just take it easy...ignore the everyday stresses. One of my favorite movie lines is in the movie "Bridge of Spies'. In that film, Tom Hanks plays the US attorney assigned to represent the Russian spy. During a in-prison scene, the attorney is a bit dismayed at the calm and dismissive attitude of the Russian. With some frustration, Tom Hanks' character asks, "You could get the death penalty. Aren't you worried?" To which the spy responds,"Would it help?"
The answer is always, "NO".
So today...don't waste time on worry...it won't help!!

Meh. I'm pissed. Run 2k to see how bad pain is and it's not bad at all...then whooohaaa...have to step down whatever we are doing in the gym because it gets too bad.
Days like these I'm grateful for my coach, had he not been there I'd not have accomplished much but he always has an idea to work around injuries. Seeing the physio tomorrow and I just cannot wait.5 -

Exercised: Yesssssssssss! I tried Day 1 of my new self-written 4-day-4-week programme and MAN, EVERYTHING HURTS THE DAY AFTER AND I AM SO HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Tuesday was Chest and Quads and it worked really well together!
Calories: Under-but-bad-choices. I made the chocolate chip pumpkin bread from the MFP blog, and after I baked it, I ate a good third of it straight out of the pan, because I thought I wanted it. I didn't, really. I'm always so in love with the THOUGHT of a pumpkin-spice-dessert/loaf/cake etc. and it's always ultimately just not that great. That said, I made it with lupin flour and good sources of healthy fats + sweeteners, so the impact could have been worse - AND turns out lupin flour is kinda fun to bake with, and gives a great crunchy top, so I'm gonna have to experiment more with that.
