Fatigue

I cannot bring myself to track my food right now. Or exercise. I'm still eating pretty well, so I'm not too worried, but I really miss the feeling I get after an intense workout. But right now, even if I can drag myself out of bed early enough or stay up late enough to fit one in, on comes the nausea! I'm trying to be gentle with myself and remember that I'm currently growing a human being and that should be enough, dammit, I still find it really frustrating to have to change my lifestyle so quickly after finally having changed it for the better. The second trimester can't come quickly enough!

Oh, I understand that feeling all too well! If it is something that works for you... You could try prelogging your food the morning of or the night before.

Also, don't overlook the value of a short/simple workout =) A quick walk or some gentle stretching may help you feel a bit better!

But don't get down on yourself! Growing humans is exhausting!

Curious if you are feeling better and less tired, BJ! I still feel a very low desire to do things I was once a lot more gung-ho about. Cooking would be #1 on that list. Hoping this group can motivate me a little!

Tmarie, I’m so in the same boat. My sleep schedule has gotten all screwed up because of finals and I’m sleeping like 12 hours a day 😭 I don’t know what to do for more energy since caffeine is out.
