I’m doing two exercise times a day.
I eat a snack before I go, and being one in case there’s nothing that seems worth the calories or future cravings.
I am bringing fruit and/or veggies platters.
For eating out, I look up menu on-line & plan what I’ll have.

    You can do it!
    Weekend, FINALLY
    Date: December 7th, Yes x 3!

I had great difficulty getting out of bed early yesterday morning but one pass is enough for now, so I did it anyway! I am trying to save the two I have left for the holidays, when not going overboard or even just accurately counting calories in someone else's delicious food is guaranteed to fail. Question to everyone:

How are you guys and gals going to deal with Christmas foods and for those who do not host themselves, possibly eating outside of home? Any advice or helpful strategies to survive the days without blowing up the budget?

I thought it would be a Pass Day, but it worked out!kmldx6y58v0u.png

220 calorie deficit- did two walks - kept moving through day. Savored each bite.

Exercised - yes! Snuck 60 min of yoga in before a 500 km roadtrip home for a memorial service and wake.

Tracked - yes! Which helped a lot to maintain thoughtfulness and conscious decision-making around point #3 below.

Under calorie goal - no. Could have, but consciously chose to have a few extra glasses of wine (although, since I knew I was tracking it, I certainly didn't go overboard. In fact, I consumed 300 less calories than I did at a house party a week ago...progress!). Taking my 2nd pass day this month with absolute pleasure and gratitude for the overall increase in accountability!

    December 8th check-in:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, but 2 different times
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Had a party last night and made a plate of baked chicken, green beans, and one potato wedge. Totally ignored the unhealthy choices and dessert table. Best NSV I've ever had. I felt pretty amazing at the end of the night.

Not a good day for me. Did not wake up early enough to exercise, ate out with my team and couldn't track the calories in that meal. Pass day 1.
